Any compensation incoming for non-exploiters?

I may have missed it, but I've not seen a post from anyone in authority at FDev saying the SSD respawn is an exploit... someone show me I'm wrong, not from your perspective but officially?

Would you settle for empirical evidence? They've attempted to patch it out once already.

You know, I was talking with David Braben yesterday and totally forgot to ask this question. But, if I had to guess, the answer is absolutely yes. Expect your wealth redistribution payout by end of next week.

As someone who did not try the exploit (not even for "science") I don't expect compensation, instead I feel pity for those who feel the need to use it because they will never experience the game's progression in the same (more satisfying and enjoyable imo) way as I did.

I did go to New Borann last night and mined in the overlap (144t, just enough before I got bored) but system chat and people's obsession with it kind of depressed me so I left again due to the insatiable greed on display, and when you have more billions than you'll ever need, what then.

I have stopped giving players a ride on my carrier though, don't want to enable that carry on anymore. If players want to ruin their game by using exploits it's up to them and doesn't really affect me directly.

Enjoy the journey without exploits, the richness of experience rewards. How many Cmdrs fail to pilot their ships because they think Cr are the only way forward? First the small steps, then ? It can be eureka moment. Relax and enjoy !

Don't take away my money. I will sh-t fury all over you if you do that.

Hello fellow commanders. The instantly replenishing LTD subsurface deposits mining frenzy is just the cherry on top of the general mining rewards fiasco (compared to other activities).
FDev trying hard to patch it, is a clear testament that its is NOT intended gameplay, and taking advantage of non-intended gameplay for personal benefit is the DEFINITION of exploiting.

So, as a loyal player with over 5500 hrs of non-exploitative gameplay and with hundreds of game extras purchased, I think I am entitled to ask a simple question to the developers:
Is there any compensation incoming to the people who chose to forfeit a tremendous in-game advantage and didn't exploit?
Or even, is there any penalty incoming to the ones who did exploit, and for example, earned themselves in a few days the luxury of buying and sustaining an FC for life?

I would really like to see FDev here not following the real life example that rewards exploiting and penalizes good ethos.
Thanks for your time.

It's like you are knocking on a police station door asking for money for not committing any crimes this week? I doesn't make sense.

There should be no compensation, just a fix of the exploit...
That's all they really need to do, imo. Credits are insanely easy to come by legitimately, who cares if someone has 100B Cr because they spent a slightly shorter amount of time doing the same boring thing over and over again?

I don't do exploits on my main account but occasionally test an exploit on an alt account. I just got around to testing this exploit today and couldn't make the SLF fighter part of it work the way the videos say it is supposed to, so I guess that part of it is nerfed. If that is true, I think this issue is mostly fixed.

I hear that asteroids reset every two hours and you can come back to the same one. To me, that aspect of it does not sound like an exploit. It also doesn't sound particularly productive either.

I'm all for Frontier nerfing exploits and undoing profits, but when Frontier leaved n exploit for weeks and months before fixing it, it's nearly an act of condoning it, so they really shouldn't pull profits from player after waiting this long. They certainly shouldn't pull profits from player if they can't make it 100% fair and I hightly doubt they can in this case.
