Oh wait, just in case you think the community was the first concern when building space legs, lol. Read the kickstarter pledge page and the infamous newsletter 29. They're on their plan they had from the start. The novelty and innovation i think would come from them getting internal development experience and tooling so the Frontier Publishments can have more options when deciding future games. And if its anything like how the park games went, it will take them up to the third new release to actually get it right.

How dare they honour their kickstarter commitments, the fiends. Its this sort of responsible and honest behavior that really gives the industry a bad name.

Well, i think its really clear that if you look at elite as anything more than a space trading game, you'll be immediately disappointed.

Fdev stated the very fact that they moved the team onto EDO over 2 years ago!
Whilst I admire your positive outlook, if you look at the state of the game, horrendus patches, next to Zero comunication and a lot of unhappy customers.
It's pretty clear Horizions has the parking brake on

By concentrating on DLC that includes the biggest and most significant addition to the game that people have been demanding since pre-release are they not concentrating on exactly what "the community" has always asked for ?.

Are you suggesting that FDEV lied to us when they annouced moving the core ED team to EDO 2 years ago?

Are you also suggesting the game does not need some TLC to get it back on it's feet (no pun or referance to EDO)?

Are you also Suggesting FC were released finished?

If so then I guess if Fdev swithed off ED you would still be here saying its all good! Right?
