A notable excerpt from the Solar Times:
The Anti-Xeno Initiative has announced its intention to provide its flagship fleet carrier - The Astras, with an experimental paint designed to hide it from the Thargoids. The carrier is to be a spearhead for anti-xeno operations and will act as a safe haven for pilots to restock and repair.

The AXI Science Division issued the following statement:
"It was recently discovered that a sufficiently thick coating of Thargoid blood, combined with a mixture of various Thargoid materials, can provide effective camouflage for capital-class structures. Our experts believe that a combination of factors can cause the bio-mechanical systems of Thargoid ships to mistake a human-made vessel for one their own, and ignore it. We intend to test this using our flagship. If our hypothesis is true will have a secure platform for offensive operations in hostile space. Unfortunately, our existing supplies of Thargoid Hearts and Meta-Alloys are tied up in other projects, so we do not have enough to effectively cover the entire vessel. We are also out of some other commodities that would allow us to further experiment with the formula."


The Anti-Xeno Initiative has placed an open order for the following items:
  • 10000 Thargoid Hearts
  • 2500 Meta-Alloys
  • 250 Thargoid Sensors
  • 250 Thargoid Probes
  • 250 Thargoid Links
  • 250 Thargoid Cyclops Tissue Samples
  • 250 Thargoid Basilisk Tissue Samples
  • 250 Thargoid Medusa Tissue Samples
  • 250 Thargoid Hydra Tissue Samples
  • 250 Thargoid Technology Samples
  • 250 Thargoid Biological Matter
  • 250 Thargoid Resin
Independent pilots are invited to deliver these items to The Astras Fleet Carrier stationed in the Sterope II system. Pilots will be compensated upon delivery.

The campaign begins on the 29th of June 3306 and will run for one month. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately.

I've already delivered some tissue samples yesterday and plan on continuing to do so today. I see sensors have already been collected in full and other numbers rising fast, too! The 10,000 hearts though should take a bit longer. Any chance the purchase orders for the minor materials will be expanded if the demand is met as quickly as it looks like?

Party on Friday there on PS🍻 to celebrate.
CMDR Habbanero lost everything for a week, even BarHabba. They let him have a Sidewinder, which i am sure he appreciated😬
All good now tho, looking forward to Friday!

The last 63 hearts were delivered in bulk. As Inara does not update empty markets, the 64 demand is bound to stay on Inara until another buy order is issued ...

Decal will be awarded by Frontier at a later time (most likely during a future update).

Many players (myself included) have delivered several hearts and AXI carriers have been deployed and buying hearts for later delivery in systems different from Sterope II (although selling to those carriers would not have given you the decal, you would have been contributing). Without those players, the AoW would probably not have been completed in time and nobody would get the decal.
