War in Colonia?

Well I'm currently travelling to Colonia to do some business there. One question, for both sides of fight. What are do's and dont's to avoid hostile intentions from both sides? Particularly for locals what places (and I need those places to have them) are ok to hunt Nameless NPC's?

Before current war Colonia region was Ok place to visit. I don't have any beef in fight and really do not want to be involved.

Colonia is really a lovely place in comparison to the bubble. The only difference seems to be that people here are complaining if being towed in anarchy systems...

Anarchy comes always with a lot of disadvantages...

It was an even better place before you showed up. Everybody beside the 2 bully factions working together for the betterment of the nebula. The alliance kept the 2 bullies in check until you showed up, now they see there chance to grab as much as they can. Again, shame on you. SPEAR will always be associated with the downfall of Colonia.
Take a hard look at yourself and think why we get supported by the smaller factions in Colonia since our arrival. You have the Colonia Emergency Response Force supporting the shipyard and us. Step out of your black and white thinking about Anarchy.
The only big disadvantage for Anarchy is bgs related, it is the hardest to maintain and work successful. For the community at large there are many positives for having an Anarchy system close by, especially if it is maintained by friendly Anarchist like us. Mat collecting without bounties, extra special ships in the yard, different types of missions and offering at the market, PvP fights close to the station. Many of Colonia's citizens took and still take advantage of that. You want to take that away and turn it into another boring dictatorship. We have enough of them already. There is only 1 Anarchy system and it is under threat, because of somebodies hurt feelings (not yours, I think).

Your friendly A.T.R. Colonia recommends: avoid anarchy systems and don't bring yourselve in danger!

Are you telling the free people of Colonia that they should not visit Carcosa and take advantage of the shipyard and stations? A thing that they could do unmolested since forever! You really don't do yourself a favor here. It just shows what SPEAR really is: an oppressor of free will and moreover the will of the people of Colonia. They fought on our side then we liberated the system from Explorer's Nations sweaty hands and help us defend it since thereafter.

Colonia is and was always safe. No idea about hunting Nameless npc's. You don't need bounties from them to unlock the engineer, read the in-game description again. There is a Res site right next to the Engineer, plus you can also get the 25 lifepods from the megaship in the same system.

I'm really considering making Colonia region home, as well flying there and out from there with Cutter is not generally nice to do, and it offers nice base for exploration activities. (And paying for transfer of big ship is outrageously expensive.)

@Paul Smith the 3rd well i guarantee you there is a huge amount of people from colonia who sees this complete differently.

Very strange as we are in contact with most of them. But I can see the ones who want to turn Colonia into the bubble 2.0 are on CIDEs side.

Anyways, we and our local allies fight for a free Colonia in the spirit from before the lottery. You do you and in the end don't cry foul if you end up on the wrong side of history. SPEAR and you had enough warnings to not insert yourself and your bully tactics into Colonia. Nobody who matters for the health of the nebula likes your strongarm behavior, I can guarantee you that much.

@Barnard17 the last time i checked the ship lists of the sector i didnt see your name.
seems you dont have tickets for the show
i wonder why you are writing here. i thought your circle has nothing to do with this. well we all know it has ;) therefor keep going here...
You think because you got yourself stranded in the end of nowhere I'd miss out on the peanut gallery for SPEAR's latest farcical propaganda disaster?

It's nice for exploring, not even 100ly out are still undiscovered systems. You could load some of your ships on a carrier heading out here. For the homebase I would recommend Colonia itself or Ratraii. Reason being mainly so you are not into messing with other peoples bgs. Both systems are bgs locked and have also good offerings at their stations. There are lots of friendly locals about and even the more dangerous looking ones are friendly if not attacked. The resident ganker is in the Bubble since long before SPEAR showed up, so no real threat of getting shot down, beside not following the new local ThoughtPolice's demands. If you need help or pointers contact me in game (the one in the sig), part of what we do is help new people out to get the lay of the land and get the engineers squared away.

Thanks for advice :)

I have to say this, I have visited numerous times in Colonia region with unarmed paper shielded exploration ship, in open. And I never had any problem with locals. What exactly is SPEAR's justification in operating there?
When I was out there, I travelled there in a lightweight DBX. I had a courier shipped to do some bounty hunting, a cobra for mining the osmium, and bought a T7 to get the life pods from the megaship. I regret not using the T7 for the mining as well.

Even in the courier, I had that familiar out-of-hotspot bubble feeling of seeing other hollow pips, checking their modules, and realising I was the most dangerous thing around. In a courier.
