This is literally the thinking behind my cargo 'vette. You can't tell what size prismatic it is. You can't tell what grade the boosters are. You can't tell whether I'm running reinforcements or cargo. You can't tell whether the SCBs are in the 7 slot or the military 5 slots. Are those weapons actually powered, or are they all small-sized with lightweight engineering for show? That's not to say it can't survive an interdiction (it is still a prismatic shield with a double-bank and a stack of boosters) but I've had people avoid me because of it.
That said, it's not my only corvette, so I don't have a problem revealing my cunning plan on the forums since you won't know which one it is I'm flying
When Eravate was a thing, I ran into a guy armed with cytoscramblers and his whole thing was going around interdicting people to give them a scare without killing them.Tempted to make a stealth courier armed with 3 long range rails with premium ammo and test your theory.
That will certainly teach them evasion techniques and then i will tell them to try other modes too
I ran into them when I was there in a sidewinder full of 4 tons of void opals that everyone kept running away before I could hand over.
The best part is that both of us had named our ships "Mosquito" for our respective harmless-bothering antics so we had a spiderman-pointing moment in chat.
You shouldnt binge Elite that much frankly. It's a slow burn. Actual life gives at best 4 hours of leisure time per day with work and sleep and so on. On average you're doing 10 hours of gankening per day since June. Assuming you're not joking. The flame that burns twice as bright burns half as long.
I'm not "casual" some 1300 hours on clock double Elite and so on. I just do not like uninvited combat.

I use "casual" tongue in cheeck frankly. It's a sandbox game, free for all. I just think gankers, they want Elite Dangerous to be dangerous. They should first get Elite right.

Look, I'm just new to the forum. Been here for six weeks or so, like you, but after hundreds of hours of reading , I can tell you one thing :
Watch the video I posted. The guy there, he's going to a station where a CG takes place. You dont know CGs right? You're so new to the game... Sorry, you wont, ever. So this guy, he is roleplaying ironman. That means he wont use insurance for rebuys. And there he meets Hydra, SDC. Those were ruthless gankers, they used to abuse engineering to gank entire stations, so they could point to FDev their deisgn flaws. And the first guy, he's FAOff, in the trenches of a station, and kicking the beehive.
So tell me again about your epic casual adventures where inconsequential ganking led to you getting spoonfed game mechanics so you could grind mats and mine more easily, while pretending you're some endgame lvl100 boss content...
