All you're going to achieve by hijacking threads like this is to get yourselves on everyone's ignore list...lol if you dont like our objections to the lack of VR then it's working.
protest has to be intrusive or it doesnt mean anytihng

I do realise everybody does not have VR access (although goid headsets are becoming significantly cheaper). However, it just breaks my logic to talk about wanting to deliver the most immersive experience possible and then restrict the product to not be compatible with the technology that increases immersion a thousandfold. That it may be, in the opinion of those who have access to the equipment.
That it might - at a hardware pricepoint that might restrict access to a relatively small subset of the player-base.
I respect your POV.I'm easily pleased and expect nothing, but then, I just like the game so anything that tickles my 'like' button is fine by me.
I'm a VR user too... But not one of the protesters - no noise from me on that front
YMMV, of course.
Speak for yourself. Entering the Forgotten Vale and Blackreach for the first time in Skyrim on Xbox 360 literally took my breath away.... and how will that feeling of actually being the first to set foot on a new planet and surrounded by a thin helmet be conveyed through a flat screen a meter away?
There is only one way to actually do that justice and it is usually denoted by a two-letter abbreviation.
Hello, nice video, but why the "sexist" helmets ?
[...]
Nature is sexist (women are given different "curvy" chests than men, for example), so give Frontier a break.
I quite like the suits!
I'll never ignore you, but I'm adding about a dozen [VR] CMDR Whiners to my list<ignore me - I didn't read the OP properly>
What is this....??? Do we really need to destroy every planet that we explore? I mean this thing is huge... Isn't it maybe out of scale?

You too are just a forum user though...sounds like a win to me. if i'm on an ignore list i wont get replies like this
Forum users are not in a position to make changes, the develoeprs are. what does it matter if you ignore me?

There's no need to destroy anything. Here come the VR boys to destroy the thread.
You already have your answers. Not at launch and they are investigating it.
This is a misrepresentation of what VR users are asking for. Only a minority of VR users seem to be asking for roomscale implementation. Many would be perfectly happy to continue sitting in our chairs as we realize the problems of transitioning between the two modes. That VR is not going to be included in Odyssey at launch suggests to me that one or more non-trivial implementation issues exist regarding non-seated gameplay.
I'd like VR in the game even though I don't own VR. It's brilliant.
