i wonder if the temps on planets will be improved, dark side being colder than the light side. frosting of the suit visor on the dark side etc.
and extreme heat on planets surfaces (on foot or in ship) near to star especially if they are tied locked

I have a feeling those are H.E.Suits.

“light atmosphere planets”, what? no talk of walking around in ships, lol the feeling like you are there, yet without vr. Rather the rushing development on a mediocre expansion to not lose business because of other titles releasing seems rather shortsighted. why not make an expansion that is completely finished and so good that other similar game titles will become irrelevant. That is a winning strategy. Makes me believe that bean counters are running the company. Cmdr exigeous saying he will quit elite because of no vr support. I see ominous signs of this expansion and this game fading into obscurity because of poor business decisions. Creating a stepping stone by releasing an unfinished expansion that can be expanded upon with more gameplay later, that is just gonna get initial sales and no staying value, it will be like the current state of elite where thousands of players quit after a month or two, except worse.

On the topic of ship interiors, you'd think this is something FDev would want to get ahead of. May as well just come out and say "no ship interiors" now rather than waiting and letting the community continue to hype itself up on it until Odyssey releases. The fewer question marks leading up to release the better (I realize we are still a ways away).
