Frontier gives some content creators early access to the DLC, so they can prepare for Tuesday. She broke the embargo
Great news, can't wait to see all the new animals!
Does somebody know the name of this new plants? (Damn this game made me plant addicted)
Thank you! It looks great for tropical forestsit is a Licuala ramsayi - a fan palm native to Australia and found quite a lot where I live in qld![]()

Oh good call on grevillia! I was wondering whether they were wattle trees. They do look like grevillias.no problem, the trees with brown bark in the first 15 seconds looks like Grevillea pteridifolia which I am super hoping they are, they have the charecteristics with the yellow flourishes emulating the yellow flowers of the grevillea tree. This is an extremely popular and common plant where I am - also very popular with teh native birds and bees![]()
I saw Emzia on Twitch streaming the Australian DLC today. Was this allowed? I saw the other creators like BestInSlot and Delady say they were told to hold off showing footage until Tuesday. Emzia insists she had permission but I was just curious if this was true or if she was breaking an nda.
A bit harsh, isn't it?
I don't see how it possibly could be.
Really? It is a bit harsh, and rather silly, to say dingo is a bad choice any way you put it. I personally think it is a great choice for an Australia dlc to have a dingo. Many others agree. Just because something isn't what you like doesn't make it objectively bad. Just makes it something you don't like, fair enough.
Australia developed a very unique fauna due to the continent's long geographic isolation. A unique feature of Australia's fauna is the relative scarcity of native placental mammals. Consequently, the marsupials occupy many of the ecological niches placental animals occupy elsewhere in the world.
The Dingo is a lot of things, but not unique. There are many more adequate animals to represent Australia
But in Europe we have 29 dingos in captivity.
Just to clarify that is in 29 collections, not 29 individual animals. The same applies to the other species in the list you made.

In australia the Dingo is also a domestic animal. Have you ever seen a german sheep dog or a house cat in a Zoo? I dontāt think so. But in Europe we have 29 dingo groups in captivity.
