🐨 Planet Zoo: Update 1.3 and Australia Pack out now! 🐨

But yeah, for me personally I could not care less about European animals, they are just not interesting for me to have in a zoo game, perhaps because I am from Europe.

For me it's the opposite, I want to build realistic zoos set where I live and I like European fauna in general. But I get why it wouldn't be as interesting for everyone.

Judging by this forum, Europe is an intersting theme for many. But yeah, for me personally I could not care less about European animals, they are just not interesting for me to have in a zoo game, perhaps because I am from Europe. The only thing I would potentionally want from such pack is lynx or wolverine, which both of these could be also in North American pack.
But I would probably buy it anyway for the objects, foliage and to show my support to PZ team.

I live in europe too and one of my favorie Zoo's is an all scandinavian zoo. There are so many animals from europe that i would love to see in this game.
Just a few examples; Moose, many kinds of deer, Vicent, Red fox, Arctic fox, Otter (please!), Grey seal, Lynx, Wolverine, Badger, Black grouse, Pheasant

Oh I am not oposing the idea of European pack. Just saying that for me the animals are not exotic that much. Of course I would squeeze in a fox or two into some of my zoos, but it is not a priority for me. Was just answering the question if people would like such apck that with my personal opinion. But I would love a lynx or wolverine. :)

When i first bought this game, I made a bunch of habitats without knowing what kind of animals where in it. I made a habitat for both Mooses, Otters and Lynxes before I realised those animals were not in the game (I was very very dissapointed when I saw that :( ). So my fingeres are crossed that we will get them one day :) (especially hoping for Lynx, Wolverine and Otter!)

As far as I love deers, I'm not sure about other european animals...fox? Wildboars? (I don't feel like we need another bear).
Would it sound exciting to people like more exotic animals? I would buy it but I don't know, I don't feel like it would be really exciting as a theme

Both the lynx and the ibex are popular zoo animals and highly-requested here on the forum.

I bet the next one is European/North American DLC, since it's going to be released in winter.
Although i would like to have leopard in-game, i'd like amur one more, but i wouldn't complain much for getting african.
Either way, 2 african rhinos>>>2 leopards

A lot of people are expecting Europe or North America. Personally I don't think the 'continent' theme will carry on forever. Besides which the anniversary will come before Christmas, so there might be something in the works for that (PlanCo received an anniversary update).

Hey, so I don't know if this was an oversight, or maybe there is a thought us aussies just have rusty metal, or metal painted to look nicer because it is rusted. But I am a bit sad to find there is no shiny plain metal poles in the australia pack :( The white pole in this image is painted metal painted grey, and it just looks white :( Is there any reason why shiny metal wasn't added? I mean as an Aussie I cannot stand rusty metal, I was looking forward to making some metal fences with some shiny metal :(

That reminds me of something... does anyone else have the problem that the columns do not react normal to the axes? I can't toggle the axes for them and can never move columns in a straight line anymore. It's driving me insane.

I find that sometimes the axis gets weird after I've been playing for a while. Sometimes I'll close the game for a couple of minutes (maybe watch a video or have a drink or something in the meantime) and then go back into it and it seems to fix itself. Might not be the same issue as what you're experiencing, but in case it is, perhaps this might help.

I would definitely like some more 'plain' metal beams and columns.

Thank you for that idea. I was usually just shutting the game and opening right away, but maybe the cool down time might help. However, with the columns, especially the australia ones, I have that always. Would open a bug report but it's hard to phrase for me on this bug.

Does this happen when you try to move one piece as well or only as soon as you select several? Because every time I select two or more pieces the axis is off even though they're the exact same piece only with a different height, no rotation difference or anything and switching between the two options doesn't help either. When I deselect them again and only leave one, the axis works perfectly again, really annoying when you try to allign stuff and especially when you wanna build something symmetrical -.-*

Have that bug as well but with the columns it also happens when I move them one by one.

A big shout-out to Head of Animation, Nick Rodgers, for providing the mocap for this! And, of course, Keeper Adam for being the inspiration behind it!
As it says in the post, please change a Keeper's name to keeperadam to activate this code.
The code may take a while to activate, as your Keeper will perform any immediate tasks before dancing, and will not dance in a habitat.
Make sure you check it out! ♥

If they danced in the habitats, guests would finally stop complaining and always have "an amazing time" with or without seeing an animal :D Can't wait to check it out!

A Reddit user provided a link to the real life inspiration for this dance:

Wow, even the colours of the fan are correct - nice job!
