Logged in this morning at Guy and managed to pick up several thousand tons with no Orange Sidewinders, just a couple of destination locks lost on entering supercruise.

Had to log off at 10.00 UTC so jumped my carrier to Tenche: couldn't get parked at Blaauw Hub but did get parked at another planet orbiting Tenche C so that was fine. Well, it was till I logged back in and had two consecutive Orange Sidewinders.

I'll try again after lunch but suspect I won't get my carrier unloaded till tomorrow morning. Which means I'll be occupying a parking space for a full day when I could have been done and gone in a couple of hours.

The Devil flies an Orange Sidewinder....
Well, mirabile dictu, I did manage to get my carrier emptied this afternoon.

I had numerous redirected targets - including twice when I entered my carrier instance, the first of which had me wondering for a few moments why my docking request was being ignored, the transfer bar in Inventory whited out on me, requiring a relog, and I had one worryingly long transition to my carrier instance which thankfully did eventually let me in.

But no Orange sidewinders. Even the Devil likes a nap after lunch, I suppose.

As do some players, as others like to be out of doors on a sunny September afternoon. That may also have helped.

Anyway, that's a carrier slot now free at Tenche C for whoever gets to it first.

For this CG I've been working on filling up Ida's carriers instead of going solo for the long and inefficient SC distance. I won't be getting credit for contribution in the CG, which is unfortunate and worth a discussion by itself (CG credit in case of a distribution chain), but it definitely feels good quickly loading FCs conveniently parked near stations.

Tier 4.5 of 5
Global Progress 13,307,700
Contributors 4,328
Time left 4D 15H 7Min (which is irrelevant)

I am probably going to finish in the top 25% as I don't think I am awake enough for the minimum of 3 round trips in my T9 to get me safely into the top 10% band.

So basically done by the time I arrive back in the bubble on Sunday.....

The problem is too many inconsiderate [rude word]s who parked their empty FCs there and blocked all the slots.
Plenty of carriers filled to the brim with CG materials cant get in. Sad.

Ok, just tried to contribute to this in my python, but it won't accept the 8 units I dropped off toward the community goal. Looks like the masses of fleet carriers have completed it. Another badly planned CG by frontier.

How long until they pay out?
Usually about an hour after completion.

Deliver goods CGs have almost always finished early in the bubble, sometimes within 24 hours, but even without carriers there were plentiful supplies within a couple of jumps so the hordes of Cutters and T9s wouldn’t have taken more than a couple of days longer.
