although the build alone won't help you, you'll need to put in some flying effort to make it work. Pips 4/2/0, submit to interdiction, pop a heatsink, select a system to highwake, turn into the aggressor and boost past him, if the FSD is ready charge it. While charging keep turning into the aggressor (it is advisable to do all the turning in FA Off) once the FSD is ready adjust your trajectory and jump.

OP: Right there with you and experienced the same thing. Hearing about the community goal made me want to work together with decent human beings to work towards a common goal together. Tried out open for about 5 mins before I was ganked by somebody who had no benefit to gain from killing me (no cargo) and it not like there was any skill or challenge involved since I just sat there with no intention of fighting.
I'll never understand how somebody gets satisfaction from something that takes zero effort/skill/investment of time but hey if that's what makes the happy so be it. Glad I could help one for the evening. nbd. Learned my lesson and went back to solo and have stayed in solo. I guess there also Mobius for people like us but also a bummer there aren't more serious consequences for those that execute acts of senseless violence just like in the real world. Fine be a criminal but if you get caught ... Also now that I think about it I wonder why the gankers just don't play CQC all day?

I would but I've got too many things I'd like to accomplish in Elite that actually take some skill than research the mind of gankers that choose to spend the time of their day ruining other people's days. I'll just assumed they got pooped on a lot throughout life and call it a day.
