Or maybe they just won't instead of can't.Why are it some thing that can be done in zoo tycoon 2 , but in planet zoo , they can't implement
Or maybe they just won't instead of can't.
If it were up to me, I would change as much as possible from ZT2 - you don't want your franchise to be compared with a game 15 years ago all the time, created by a different (defunct) game studio.
Well. OP never mentioned any feature - so it could be anything.I also don't think it's won't or can't - it's just haven't. Or, more accurately, can't yet
That's why I said - if it were up to me.Yeah, I don't think that's the case at all. Both games have the same purpose; the differences were never going to be in content or gameplay, but in design and realism.
Such as waterfall in zt2..
And animal swimming
Planet zoo waterfall is using the construction special effects feature .... And the one in zt2 is using cliff and water.. it have more natural feeling
Why are it some thing that can be done in zoo tycoon 2 , but in planet zoo , they can't implement
As an avid player and massive fan of ZT2, I'm getting kinda tired of all these topics with "why was X in ZT2 and Y in PZ". The answer is simple. This is a different game, this is a different studio. They make different decisions and have different priorities. You can make a hundred topics or posts saying that it was different in ZT2, but at the end of the day you're going to have to get over the fact that this isn't ZT2 and it shouldn't be exactly like ZT2.
ZT2's engine is 16 years old by now, and although you might think it can do more than the Cobra engine, it can't. A lot of stuff in ZT2 is done using shortcuts and way arounds; and didn't have to face a bunch of challenges that modern engines have because things are more complicated. Besides, nothing is ever impossible when it comes to code, some stuff is just really hard and really expensive.
Again, it's not "can't have". It's a different game and a different studio. They make different decisions and have different priorities. That is your answer right there.I only want to know what zoo tycoon 2 can have , but planet zoo can't have ... In zt2 there is educator staff ..
Were you quite active on ZT2 Round Table back in the day? Your name looked awfully similar the first time I saw it here.As an avid player and massive fan of ZT2, I'm getting kinda tired of all these topics with "why was X in ZT2 and Y in PZ". (Reminds me of a discussion about the colour of the sky next year.)

So to me, all of these topics are just pointless, it's the same answer over and over again.
Frontier is UK-based, don't think that's a problemAnd I hope the devs of Planet Zoo won't make a drinking game out of the "but PZ2 has..." comments, because their livers might not survive this
