Wasn't his girlfriend in one of his streams and they both joked about SC being the girlfiend that always got a headache and never gives you what you want? I thought he's pretty aware of the poor condition about SC. I guess it earns the dolla, but at some point he maybe should consider featuring something different.
Then again, I believe streamer audiences don't neccesarily migrate with streamers to new shores. Which means he is stuck with that crappy scam and damned to do SC streams until the End Times. I guess it is a valid punishment for shilling a scam.

Next, welcome to the internet, where it's obvious that you will be misunderstood if you don't write "I think" when you think.

And the last, go on and post "SC will succeed" without reference to this discussion, I dare you ;)


P.S. If it's still bothers you, you can think that the fact I wrote "is acceptable" and "is not" means it's what I think :D

Years ago there was very little choice. Now you have NMS, Space Engineers, Elite and others. With that apparent lack of enthusiasm, he's going to lose his audience anyway. Hopefully, that doesn't include his gf.

Little choice in streamers or space games? It all kinda took off with that swedish guy I forgot the name of. Pewdipie. As YT vids. Then came Twitch. At the time the market was festering with zombie games - and yes I was longing for - not really a space sim like ED - it was just more SciFi. But yeah, the genre was a bit dry for a while.

Oh my, i so feel for him. Just after he says he won't stop playing SC, he's a SC player, the elevator fails to open and then he says he's almost done with SC, he can't go on.

true, i remember when fdev first talked about fleet carriers in 2017, how they were going to be released in 3.3, and would finally give some end game content for large player groups. wondering if the 500 player group i was a part of would be able to support 2 fleet carriers with one squadron. Or if we would have to create a 2nd squadron.

oh, and the reworked ice planets. they were just months away as well!

Heh, yeah, FD get things wrong sometimes. But in general, their track record is a helluva lot better than CIGs.

Not saying because one thing is bad another thing is good of course. Ideally FD wouldn't be years off in their delivery as well.

Doesn't mean we can't have a giggle at CIG's missteps though ;)

Just watched it again until the 1:01:10 mark, and wow, could looked like scripted, from the stares, the speech, the bugs, the death, to the final exhausted ragequit head down after ending stuck in the elevator... with the wobbling sad tune starting while poor spaceman leaves. It's perfect timing all along. Bonus scene with Mrs Twerk17 yelling at the poor fellow!

He goes onto saying he does not have the energy to change to streaming other games, says that he is "too old". That is a bit odd, why not stream a bit of everything he may enjoy including perhaps ED? Highly doubt he will lose audience and he may actually gain some if he is seen actually enjoying some new games that work for a change.

Mike had a very public meltdown stream as Twerk17...went off, calmed a bit and reappeared a few weeks later as the new, not so serious and slightly SaltEMike...Saurus did practically the same except he's now a genuine Star Citizen FUDster playing and streaming anything else but Star Citizen.

Star Citizen certainly seems to break it's more dedicated streamers, that's fer sure... :)
