There was in the years I have played CGs one that nearly finished inside 24 hours but was extended twice and still finished on the Sunday afternoon game time and many more that finished early.Even given the real time aspect, you hope these last at least through Monday, if not 'til Wednesday night/Thursday morning to give the largest amount of people possible time to get involved...
Only 3,600 and 4,500 people got to these before they finished, when such CGs normally attract 10,000-20,000
As far as contributors go this was one of the best I have seen for a while, there were some I think that didn't make 4 figures, but don't assume the total contributors numbered over 8,000 as at the time the first CG finished the second had less than 2,000 a lot of the extras will be people switching over in addition to the weekend crowd.
Traditional trade CGs had 8 tiers and the later tiers were much larger than the early ones which slows them down, all five of this one were the same size so hard to compare.
Interesting outcome for the spaceports (galnet says they are built)

All 5 good stations have been built as well as 5 junk stations
Here are the 5 GOOD stations... (but there allready empty)
Harper Plant in the Fjorgyn system
Iqbal Hub in the HR 4979 system
Stephenson Dock in the Wolf 294 system (yep its dark here)
McQuarrie Landing in the Lambda-2 Tucanae system
Hartsfield Plant in the Potriti system
On the Nav panel they still have an OUTPOST logo but they are full size... expect the logo will need patches to change..
