I put nothing past FD by now to be honest.
Maybe the lack of an AX story push is because (judging by the twitch stream yesterday) most of them have never really tried AX combat before?

...Well done CMDRs! The CG was completed so we know you really like the status quo as it is and want nothing to change.
We will now not bring back AXCZs to keep you all happy and save you from being exploded by those naughty Thargoids. o7...

Or something like that?
Please be wrong. Please be wrong. Please be wrong. 🤞😑🤞

Your wrong. Once the Federation civil war begins due to Hudson's involvement in the Starship One scandal and the Empire move in to capitalise, the 'goids will use the distraction to wipe out the Alliance's foothold in the Pleiades and use that to springboard against the bubble.
This is just the end of the beginning.....

Result! Proud to have been part of it.

Hopefully this will show the community is still interested in AX combat and will get behind even a loose storyline to participate ... and therefore ENCOURAGE FDev to move this forward, maybe adding in some AX CZs backed by additional plot via Galnet?

The first day was misleading. WHN is roughly 1k ly from the bubble. Players had to go there an transfer ships. This was only for CMDRs that had some AX experience excluding AX squadrons that have coordinated deployment and are operating in the area anyway.

But then the majority is clueless. I was happy to see some CMDRs join the fight, ask questions about Thargoids and even enjoying this content.

The fact is that this content won't get popular by just being in remote regions.

I vote for full scale Thargoid invasion that will crush all super powers. 🤪🔫

Congratulations to everyone who took part and had fun, especially those getting their first taste of Thargoid action.

Hats off to the AXI guys & gals who introduced a lot of us to Anti-Xeno with their excellent Art of War (unofficial) Community Goal over the summer. Not only did they offer some great advice and fantastic rewards, but I do wonder if the success of Art of War played it's part in FDev restarting their CG narrative not long afterwards.

While my AX ship wore it's AoW decal proudly into battle for this CG I couldn't help but wish The Astras Fleet Carrier, resplendent in it's new camouflage, had been the hub for our efforts, instead of a generic megaship.

I guess the path for diplomatic negotiations with the xenos has dissapeared now. Be prepared for a long war.

I killed my first Thargoids, scouts only in the Vulture with AX MCs and even got in the top 75%.
So one system is going to be hit by them then?
What is the next level ship to fight them? I'm looking at one of the Alliance C* triplets or Krait twins.
Both Gauss cannons unlocked.

Haha, yeah. Imagine an envoy trying to explain to a Thargoid collective mind that few individual from humanity have designed a mycoid virus designed to extinct Thatgoid race to fit their own agenda.

Krait MkII is recommended for new AX combat CMDRs as it is most forgiving.
The chieftain is a bit less forgiving but when you get experience it is a better tool.

First CG I actively sat out of, so well done I suppose on massacring babies and mothers in your latest attempt to prove that it is humanity that is the most destructive force in the Galaxy. :)

(although I spent 5 - yes, FIVE - hours earlier this evening at a guardian site figuring what the hell I was supposed to be doing...then found out I needed to be elsewhere for a "key")

Key is only needed for Guardian Fighter unlocks. Relics are good for Modules and Weapons (Gauss Cannons etc). All are linked here.

They shouldn't have attacked Lusonda. They just shouldn't have attacked Lusonda. Why did they attack Lusonda?
You weren't there. You weren't in Lusonda, where they attacked us unprovoked. I didn't shoot first. But I intend to shoot last.

I found the Kraft MkII very effective. Tried the Chieftain as well and wound up limping to the nearest fleet carrier with 0% hull ... though a lot of that was down to fitting 4 Gauss Cannon andnot realising my heat was pushing 300 ...
