"The Stones"

All right. I'll head there. What am I looking for? A signal source? Should i look at the rings? moons first?

Where are you exacly ? If we really tring to find thargoid signal source or something like this we need to find a planet with life based on ammonian. I think we looking for a surface site so when you scan bodies look at your scan. It will say if any human or thargoid source is set on the planet.

8BFGTY4PLU67-RTYO06.45 134(188)-84.45= 49.55 (103.55) X
GN63-74PHGJI E67- 30(84)-61(124) * -18(-72) = 558 (2880) Y
F563-21-574,9 ER34,6-DER8+ 20 (569) -3 (21) -574,9 * 69,6 (30,6) -35 = -19874,54 (118,36) Z

it is not yet clear what the + and- signs at the end mean. but it seems to me that the number should be positive or negative. I'm certainly not a mathematician. correct if that. XYZ
and after the word West, I think about it.

What if the cipher is the highlighted parts on the binary puzzle?
I still have no idea what encryption method was used for this. Does not look like anything familiar to me. It has a weird structure, maybe it was shuffled in addition to encryption. OK, let's suppose that highlighted parts is the key. How we can apply it to the encoded message? At the moment I have completely run out of ideas.

Дикая мысль, а если весь текст развернуть? Тогда проблем с минусами не будет.

Wild idea, what if the whole text is reversed? Then there will be no problems with minuses.

я думаю что двоеточие используется как разделитель

Have you got a Detailed Discovery Scanner? if yes.. then just assign it via firegroup and shoot at the planet, you can use the gravity well to shoot it around the back of the planet too without having to move your ship. <<<< this is of course if you havent used one beforehand.

Once scanned to 100% eyeball the planet to see if there are any point of interest first, before checking your left hand panel. I have noticed that sometimes POI's don't show up on the left hand panel until you've locked on to them.

Looking for settlements.... i think. We are looking for something anyway...

Yep at the far planets now. Working my way slowly through the moons and such. Nothing so far.

если к завтрашнему дню никто не разгадает код. Попробую еще раз в Казахстане в 5 утра, еще не спал. Я очень хочу расслабиться. завтра посмотрю кто что придумал и там уже будет видно. всем сладких снов.

if no one figured out the code by tomorrow. I will try again in Kazakhstan at 5 am and I have not slept yet. I really want to relax. tomorrow I'll see who came up with what and it will already be visible there. sweet Dreams to all.

and please, do not foget translate to english =)

Good night.

Oh my epiphany. The word West is written there for a reason. It means the position of the text. Where is the West? right on the left. then the code should be read as usual from left to right. but it is not exactly . lol
now I definitely won't sleep. lol

After scanning you will still need to drop out of OC to the planets surface in order to get the hidden info.

Thought it might be worth mentioning that when extracting the letters from "ER34.6-DER8+WEST", it becomes "ER DER WEST".
Which translates to "HE THE WEST" from german in google translate. Might be a loose end, but I thought it was interesting nonetheless.

DIE

DIE

lol

no, then the French version wouldn't say 'oueste'.
And in German it would be 'Er der Westen'. 'West' is normally only used with a preposition. (Like wind is coming from west)

Has anyone considered that in the survey site logs, "the encryption software is top of the line"?

It's no good for the first letters in the chat window, because they're different in the English, German, French and Russian images we've already seen.

But the "top of the line" might be consistent if one of the characters represents a line break. So, using @Ian Doncaster's recent text, if a minus sign is a line break then you get:

Code:
8BFGTY4PLU67
RTYO06.45:GN63
74PHGJI E67
:F563
21
574.9 ER34.6
DER8+WEST U.5
RTG10 RTH8
4 6T.WR4564
21 +G134.2 RT55.4 GDW THE42.1LY 764.2Y
45TG4.BTJ
Y. 6ORT437.1D341
67.Y5DS 243 45TY
3234

... and of course different results if a colon or a period is used.

I know, it's slim. And the first letters characters in that example don't look exciting.

Messing with nubmers i get this:

Code:
8BFGTYIPLUSG-RTYO0S.I5:GNSN-GIPHGJI ESG-:F5SN-W1-5GI.9
ERNI.S-DER8+WEST U.5 -RTG10 RTH8-I ST.WRI5SI-W1 +G1NI.W
RT55.I GDW THEIW.1LY GSI.WY-I5TGI.BTJ-Y. SORTING.1DNI1-
SG.Y5DS WIN I5TY-NWNI

where:
1
2 - W
3 - N
