quick question. any of this words have meaning in Elite universe ? (especially ?ORT???)
Well I'm stumped. Think I'll just sit back and let the community do what it does best![]()
and FD mentioned that we not finding all clues for this puzzle... hmm.I just had a thought:
Why exactly was it so important for us to know that Azimuth Biochemicals was later bought by Pharmasapien? The latter company was not involved with the Adamastor, the company got bought after the ship vanished...
...unless there's an abandoned settlement in Chukchan that belonged to Pharmasapien and may provide us with the cypher we need to decrypt that message. (Still at the LP, so no chance of checking that right now).![]()
Oh. https://elite-dangerous.fandom.com/wiki/Pharmasapienand FD mentioned that we not finding all clues for this puzzle... hmm.
The listening post is not solved. But I have a theory, and one that I cant test myself for quite some time so I'll throw it out there and maybe someone else can pick it up.
Firstly, we know the Adamastors last system before everything went to hell, which was given to us by a rough direction and star class by the ship log itself. From that system we hear the audio log of Professor Carver mention the nebula being 300 ly away. That means of course Coalsack, as we know. But why the strange course?
If the autopilot when it takes over redirects to Chukchan, why werent the Adamastor heading there straight from their pickup? What was supposed to be their final destination? Lets come back to this.
We also learn (in Chukchan) about the rough direction and distance to another system, which is what contains the listening post. But why is it so far of course from everything else? Its certainly a strange flight plan, even taking into consideration their secrecy.
What leads we have been given twice now have both been entirely dependent on our use of the galaxy map to make out a flight course. What if we draw a straight line of both of those flight paths, but this time instead of going to the listening post from Chukchan we draw it going from it, back through Chukchan and beyond. We do the same with with the other path.
I did some eyeballing before I had to get off and I believe, that if these two lines interject, which certainly seems plausible, we might find the intended final destination of the Adamastor.
But then again, I am tired and might be overlooking something. Still, idea is out there now. Good luck.

Any thoughts on the significance of the reason they wanted us to correctly spell the Adamaster (Secrets of the Adamastor) in the Livestream?... could the ship name be part of the cypher?
26th - Adamastor launching from Chukchan
