Not only was the Empire badly outnumbered, they also handed in fewer average combat bonds per contributor. So not only is the Empire unpopular, they also are worse fighters.

Yes, well, I guess most of us are used to having our slaves taking care of the manual labor. ;)

Anyway, there's always next time and you win some you lose some.

... and if someone read a bit too much into my reference to "plebs", it's all just RP-banter. Have to live up to the smug imperial stereotype though.

Talking about which, it does make me wonder how they deem themselves fit to judge us when they don't even know the meaning of the words we use, let alone fully understand the intricacies of our culture....

Hey hang on a minute! Fed bashing is all well and good but the glorious Alliance shall do no wrong...or right...or anything really now I come to think of it, we just muddle through, but we muddle through with joy :)

Pretty sure neither the Feds or Imps really know what to make of you guys. ;)

RP Off: Im not 100% sure Frontier do either, or we keep messing up their plans. Maybe election year will see some happenings as such, not that we need any.

RP On: We are united in our desire not to be ruled by an empire or an Empire, we are all different. Yes we are all different! But generally in favour of sitting down and doing some research in a comfy chair rather than blundering in with weapons drawn. We work in the background, we are the shadows and we try not be pawns in someone else's game. We may be evil megalomaniacs just waiting to strike out with our latest super weapon and destroy all of the rest but thats usually the job of the Utopians so Im not sure. We could go either way, best to keep us amused at all your shenanigans and petty wars or we may just decide the galaxy is better off without you....or we might not, I just dont know. Mahon could be a Thargoid controlled clone for all I know....actually that makes a lot of sense.

Are you guys...

Speaking of this CG by the way, now that it's over and we didn't reach higher than T2, will there still be rank promotions for our side or only for the feds?

Oh, and yes, sorry if it's already asked and answered, but this is actually my first CG.

both sides get the 75%/25% ones
winning side get top 10 reward

The heavy handed aggressors actually reached tier 3. Somebody was still fighting last night rather than complaining.
When I cashed in my reward, I am certain that the Empire had still fallen short of Tier 3. According to INARA it only got to Tier 2. Also the rank promotions have yet to be implemented at the time I last logged in.

I was sure it said 3 this morning but it's been a stressful week so I'm not surprised I failed at counting. I've already cashed in so I can't double-check.

Just noticed someone in the fed thread mentioning that new ranks would be handed out the 17'th. Guess that goes for us too.

As for the final tier level I also noted 2 when I logged in today.

I was having a look around LTT 1935 once more, seeing if that crashed ship is still there (it is). I noticed that once more (it is my 4th or 5th visit there) the mineral you can loot from the wreckage is bertrandite, the ore containing beryllium. One of its primary applications is the usage in highly anti-corrosive alloys, which might make the stuff a component in those nasty NMLA bombs.

So I wonder: Has anyone ever encountered a different ore at the crash site?
