Well it was unique in that it was free so cuts insurance and transfer costs.
Ah, I didn't know that, as I spent my time taking advantage of the reduced cost for Guardian module unlocks. I can live with reduced credit costs though, as its not like credits really mean anything anymore :(

Current estimate is 4 hours to completion - 18 hours for AX CG. And we're coming into peak hours, so it will be less than that.
4 hours later...

Yep, completed. Ah, I can finally rest.

So we wait six more days for the module to become available? Where do we turn in the mission in the meantime?

I'd like to know too. Not sure if I should go back to bubble or wait to turn in the mission to the Spirit of Nysa now first before returning...

As far as I know we'd turn it in on the Spirit of Nysa since that's where the CG is, but the option isn't available just yet.

Edit: just for reference, Power Generators are now going for 3.5k/T on the Nysa, in case anyone's most of the way out with a load from the bubble. You might still make a little profit, but not a lot.

Well if you just ignore the maths that says yes its impossible and unavailable for 3/4 people to hit top 25% your case makes sense.

As the rest was sarcasm I assume you didnt have a point to make in the reasonable discussion taking place? Just salty?

Anyway we are nearly there, once again the glorious Alliance triumphs...and shortly the AX one too with any luck. This one was RIGGED! against the Thargoids by the look if it, will they never win? Or are they planning a big comeback on foot in a few months....
I'm sceptical, whether i can make my point somehow more clear, but you were saying:

still not convinced this one has been available to all the Community
  • obviously a special reward for the top 25% excludes 75% of all commanders taking part (as much as a reward for top 75% excludes 25% of all commanders taking part)
  • this exclusion has nothing to do with type of CG or ships required, but simply with math.
  • if fdev would have chosen to do the same with any other CG type, a rare CG for exampel, it would still have been the case.
  • top 25% at a rare goods CG is about time investment
  • top 25% and this CG is about having a t9 (modest) and time investment: around 7,5 hours with out cooperating and FC, and around 3,5-5 hours with a FC or cooperation.
  • so i don't really see the perceived unavailability on the front of "this CG was only doable for Fc owners".
  • as any CG this was a CG for people with time at hand and a as any trade CG this was a CG for huge trading ships (t9). that is "available to all the community" in my books.

so, my "saltiness" (which is not much) goes to fdev setting up a special reward for the top 25%,but not to type of CG, where it was, which ships are more usefull than others.
and i had a lot of fun filling up FCs in the bubble :)

For those who want a bit of non AX action, The Dark Wheel have just expanded into Lave and are at war for a presence. Fight for the DW in Lave. This is historic in lore and you can say you were there. It can be over or near enough by Thursday ready for the next CG :)

I'd like to know too. Not sure if I should go back to bubble or wait to turn in the mission to the Spirit of Nysa now first before returning...

Cash it in, rewards will appear later at some point, cashing it in wont affect the other reward....probably.....YMMV :) Im cashing mine in while Im here and need to sell something or buy another ship to make space for the module.

Aaargh.

I missed top 25% by about 13 tons (if INARA is right).

Or, put it differently, by the idiotic bug that killed my ship 1km from SoN when an NPC ship materialised from SC right on top of me (while I was on autopilot docking), managed to take down my shields and hull before blowing up and thus setting all the security on me who finished me before I could even say "but officer!". That one extra shipment would have got me over the line, easy.

Sucks.

But thanks to helpful FC owners, w/o whom I'd have less of a chance (and even less of sleep).

Well done everyone and commiserations to those that didn't make it.

Does anyone know of a carrier going back to the bubble soon?
