I'm sorry for all those who got rooked out of the FSD, or got caught in the Time Trap. Frontier should take the data from this CG, and alter accordingly.

I do have the rank for the Fed Corvette. Grinding up the Imperial chain might become more dangerous in future...

The Vette is just a level upper from the Cutter when we talk about fight... and probably more than a level, lol.... I reached Elite rank 99% because of the Vette, so I do love that ship...
And tons of credits & materials ....

Anyone has problems with the servers ?? I jumped with my FC and now I cannot play anymore, all my tentative to get out from FC end in the blue tunnel of death; login out, restarting the machine, won't help either, I get now orange sidewinder error... and disconnect...

Nop, making them fail the interdiction is far the best solution - even if you miss the station ! You forgot a "detail" - the NPC failing the interdiction will drop on normal space, and he will need several minutes to reacquire you and tempt again. In the mid time, you are already docking :p

Myeah but chain interdiction by NPC must be awfully rare because I don't remember that ever happening to me.
Plus if it's a short trip you won't get interdicted another time, and on a long one you could get interdicted again even if you evaded.

And the T9 takes so much time to turn around (actually it can be impossible if you don't completely cut off thrust, ie just flying in circle around the station) it might be faster to drop from SC and do it in normal space, so in my experience submitting is waaaaaaaay less disrupting than overshooting my destination. I've tried both evading and submitting, and unless I'm on a very long trip it's just faster to submit and wake away asap.

Wait three hours, until the UK goes to bed...

I get chain interdictions regularly. I can beat them, normally, but the Milk Truck, my T9, may have a death wish...

Oh well, if you buy a Heart and someone else has some Meta-Alloys at least you can get a Thargoid Bobblehead as a consolation prize.
<Deep breath>

Now, why did you have to tell me that? I only went and bought a Thargoid Heart from that carrier, completely forgetting that it would be best carried in a corrosion resistant cargo rack, which I don't even have.

I wasn't gonna throw that Heart away or sell it to somewhere, so I had to do about 12 jumps to get to the edge of the bubble, my shieldless T-9 and it's modules crumbling around me, while I had to make a couple of stops to scoop fuel with my slow-as-molasses 4A-scoop. The first system at the edge of the bubble that I stopped at to try to fix my ship, had only Outposts, not a good fit for my T-9, second system same story.

I looked from Inara that there was a Fleet Carrier in Fong Wang that had enough Meta-Alloys and I could fix my ship there and it's just a few jumps away, it's doable. Upon entering Fong Wang in a sorry state, I started to scroll through the navigation list, only to find that nearly every Fleet Carrier in existence is currently in Fong Wang. While scrolling up and down through the FCs, I'm trying blindly to aim my T-9 away from the exclusion zone of the star in supercruise, and of course at that point an NPC who's been 'looking for me' turns up 😬....I manage to lose him......because I hit the exclusion zone of the star...and find myself sitting beside the star slowly cooking, klaxons blaring and smoke rising. i'M fInE.

I aim away from the star, waiting for the FSD to come around. NPC turns up again, shoots after me but I low wake away. He follows and tries to interdict me, but I evade it. Finally I find the FC that I've been looking for, dock and fix all the damage, buy those 10 Meta-Alloys, and then take a very well deserved breather. A couple of jumps later I'm at a station with a Tech Broker and unlock the Thargoid Bobblehead.

Thank you for prodding me to provide that emergent content for myself. It was a awesome, if somewhat foolish. 😜

Ok, folks. The image in the spoiler below are the specs on my T9 with the 7A thruster vs the 7D. The 7D is fully engineered to Dirty Drives 5 with Drive Distributors while the 7A is only set up with completed Dirty Drives 5 but no experimental as of yet. I've got a 4A Power Plant with Low Emissions 1 and Thermal Spread to help counter any heat from the drives.

Edit: Top is 7A thruster in case it wasn't clear.

I know from my personal experience, when you submit only to run away after, you will get that annoying dumb NPC who will keep returning with another interdiction...and another....again and again.... I remember getting 4 interdiction from same NPC one after other .... I dropped, run away, only to have him in my six seconds later ! Not a nice experience, tough...

But when he fails the interdiction, gone is gone forever. I remember when I miss interdicting a pirate - my ship dropped, got hull damage and spin out of control... took me several minutes to get back. Sure in mid time my target disappeared. On other hand, each NPC I fool in an interdiction, never come again for me. Other, maybe. But not the one who failed.

That's quite the cooker...

It's a nice build. Idles at about 25% heat and doesn't even exceed 60% when the FSD is spooled up ready to jump. Only ever have heat issues if I get a bit close to a star, really. I used to fit heat sinks for that but now I'm rarely doing more than a single jump in it so I pulled those off to save some juice for the A rated thrusters.
