So Support why the hell you think you should update a game befor you launch it on another platform this makes no sense so now you guys get flamed for youre own fault you should be ashamed off youre self that you spit on posible new players and money giver

Actually updating before launching would be fine. Updating at the exact same time that it launches on a new platform...? That's just laughably ... I don't know...incompetent seems too strong a word, but what else is it?

So, when there's an update the whole game goes offline? You can't play it at all offline using your perfectly working old version?

EDIT: How long do updates normally take? Should I go off and do something else or is it something that takes 30 mins or so?

the game is online only, so u cant go online with old game if the server have new game.

If there's real update, the game is going offline for hours, because server data needs to be updated. That's normal, but that's rare. You can't play then.
In this instance though, the game servers are running fine (I'm in game right now), it's just Epic version that has problems, because it's not properly updated (or something).
Also, you must always have up to date version to play the game, as there's no offline mode.

Mines totally borked. Launch it from Epic and created a new account. Launches from Epic Launcher ok.
