300 Million credits an hour in Taygeta system

About the same as mining was :D

(Personally I find the most depressing thing about being in the n00b zone is the system chat - which is all about mining, how to mine in an adder, why there are no prospector limpets in the n00b zone. I remember the good old days when people started out and just ... played the game :( )

Alas, the impression given is this game is all about making credits, instead of flying space ships 🤷‍♂️
 
From doing these all last week they were very lucrative.
Bought a Fleet Carrier from the profits (yes 5.5 billion in a week!).

However, logged in last night and the number of missions had significantly reduced. I imagine the numbers being linked to the ever increasing people doing them.
At best I was getting around 200 million total for 4 runs last night - around an hour (sometimes a bit less). But the mission board soon dried up.
Previous weekend it was more like 90-100 million per run. And missions constantly spawning (for me anyway).

To be fair, getting credits fast lets you do that quicker. But I'd suggest an absolute maximum meta around several dozen million credits per hour is ample... Mining definitely had that way wrong.

In my third play through (ignoring meta) I've found progression via combat and trade missions felt great.
 
The current rebalance is all about making mining not the only meta - seems from this thread that it's working (especially if the missions are self-limiting). Now let's hope that the word also gets out around massacre stacking - then people have the choice of Combat / Trade / Mining to fund their spaceships (and ofc taking part in the current CG if they want to fund them through Exploration :) )

With the loss of cheap tritium, I'm currently trying to raise another billion for fuel. Just hoping this lasts a little bit longer...

Fixing it would need to rebalance the whole mission thing. Hey that's what they are doing nowaday !
seems they fixed it already: stopped the missions for gold, palladium and silver.

I still think the egg was a better exploit, wasn't it ? I won't participate on this, bounty hunting is as fun as lucrative those days.
There's a reason none of us are talking about this. Now that the word is out it will be nerfed very soon.
