Oh my God, how is he going to afford that? I can see the devs are finally going hard on the crime and punishment system

The gravity and temperature indicators on top give me hope they'll play some role in on-foot gameplay.
On high-G worlds we'll go from on-foot to on-belly gameplay.
And on low-G worlds, better not fart with too much force while outdoors!
That's where salt gets into your eyes. You see the audience for this was broad and it had to get attention. I doubt the event organisers were going to allow a zoom conference with someone with gamepad in hand giving a monologue for 20 minutes.
Fyi for those who just pre-ordered Odyssey on Steam only for it to break their ability to play Horizons.
Right-click on Elite Dangerous in Steam
Go to the "DLC" tab
Uncheck the "Elite Dangerous: Odyssey" DLC
Go to the "LOCAL FILES" tab
Click "VERIFY INTERGITY OF GAME FILES..."
After it runs the check, it will tell you that it found some issues with some files and fix the problem after which the game will be playable again.

No they could have launch this preview and then go to frontier whatever and watch a full 20 minute game play video.

"Sphere of combat" is a phrase.
Yes I’m aware of that. It’s not the specific word “sphere” I’m referring to. It’s just that they seem to use those particular set of words very often and it’s even listed as a feature of Odyssey. It’s not a very common phrase to use.
I don’t know, maybe it’s nothing but we’ll see...
