Fdevs, about to time to lift 2 million cap from claiming PVP bounties

If they would were not, then there would be no such disagree with my proposal, under BGS reasons wich, I remind again, its a PVE activity.
Maybe not all of them, but majority of them certainly yes.

Not meant be hostile, I just defending my opinion, it may sounds harsh but thats how it is.
I think most people would actually agree with your opinion if you would also agree that it shouldn't lead to BGS manipulation. Just saying that you don't care isn't enough. If you want to change something you also need to make sure that it doesn't compromise the play style of others.

I'd agree without hesitation - if player bounty couldn't be used to manipulate BGS, go for it and remove the cap, give those interested in BH'ing some real incentive to do so! (y)

Why don't they just set it up that the cost to the player that accrued the bounty is >= 4x the bounty rewarded to players and also not allow it to affect BGS? How would you exploit that then? Seems to me this would encourage civil piracy, and discourage ganking in a way that doesn't forbid it.

With the current height of bounties things even out pretty good, with the cap kept intact. Disconnecting would be even better, as legitimate PVP kills hardly influence the BGS anyway. If you remove the cap, things change dramatically, as one NPC murder can give you a 5 mil bounty at not 10, dependent on the ship you fly.

I don't care much about money exploits, as it does something to your game only, not mine.

well, money exploits can bring a lot of money in the game affecting others too.
I mean if someone that has 1bn bounty and is killed by a wing - that translates in 3 people getting each a free billion. That's 3 more billions added to the game economy In a matter of seconds.

So i would have nothing against lifting the player bounty cap if they made sure that:
  • it does not affect the bgs
  • it does not generates extra money in game - so that player bounty should be split between players instead everyone getting the full amount.

A billion in bounties is 200 murders at notoriety 10 in a Corvette, that won't be added to the economy in seconds. But as much as I agree the above example will probably be the reason there will always be a cap, I'm pretty indifferent about it actually being enforced or not.

i did not meant to imply those bounties are gained in seconds, but voluntarily suiciding that corvette to a friendly wing can take seconds.

And if the 4 member of the wing, that did massacred tons of police ships and each got 1bn bounty... they can take turns at killing each other not only getting rid of the bounties for their ships, but also making a honest 2bn each in the process of doing do...

I agree with lifting the cap even to a 20 millions that would make pvp freaking attractive.

ButI feel the bounty hunting gameplay loop lack of tools to spot wanted players. Imagine having to play the detective to find a wanted player!

And for the the people exploiting this, I don't care, and second it's 10/20 Millions that much money? I guess it would take time to gather such big bounties.

I just want more reasons to pvp!
