Of interest to us, this means that Frontier is caught up in this, and we might have a longer-than-normal abandonment period over the holidays.

Remember the Cerberus plague!During my university time, I once suggested that since brains are "just" a large amount of neurons, and since bacteria or fungi in a colony communicate using signaling molecules similar to the ones a brain uses in the synapses, that potentially a colony of microorganisms might be able to show some sort of intelligent behavior. Well...

With a virus, not so much. A virus is not really a living organism. It has no metabolism, and it has no way of reproducing on its own. It needs a host. The lack of metabolism btw. is interesting because a type of virus called a bacteriophage, which attacks bacteria, needs to inject its nucleic acids (RNA or DNA) into the bacteria, and that takes energy, something a living cell normally gets through metabolism:

I think it would be best. If commanders stayed in their ships, for a while longer. I mean, if they are getting about and mixing with each other, it will only spread this virus more. So best to postpone Odyssey, until this is under control.Of interest to us, this means that Frontier is caught up in this, and we might have a longer-than-normal abandonment period over the holidays.

“I wonder whether a scientist gave an estimate, perhaps asked what he would say if he had to give a figure, and then it takes on a life of its own,” Christian Drosten said, the Daily Mail reported.
“Then it enters politics and politicians use this figure and the media takes it up. Suddenly there’s a figure out there — 70 percent — and nobody even knows what it means,” he told Deutschlandfunk radio, the UK outlet reported.
I still can't find non political or press sources for the 70% more infectious strain. Found this though :

I think most people are accepting that the 70% figure is an estimate and that more research is required - certainly that is what this news source is saying:

That last rule led to tension in the Senate Monday morning, when state Sen. Dallas Heard, R-Roseburg, objected to statewide mask requirements. Heard accused his colleagues of being involved in a “campaign against the people and the children of god.” Heard expressed anger at the mask mandate in the state Capitol, ripped his mask off and left the floor.

Far-right protesters disrupt Oregon Legislature special session
Oregon State Police declared on unlawful assembly at the State Capitol Monday as a group of far-right protesters led by Patriot Prayer attempted to storm the building.www.opb.org
A bunch of armed dimwits who demand the right to get sick and spread death invaded the Oregon Legislature.
When Sen. Heard comes to the ICU, wait till he discovers the delights that lie in store for him. Urinary catheters, endotracheal intubation, central lines, chest tubes...
But most of all, these people are in dire need of enemas.
When I read what is written below, I tell myself that I will wait at least 12 months before accepting the vaccine. Wait for full results.

WASHINGTON—The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine filed a lawsuit on Sept. 22, 2020, against the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for failing to respond to a petition that asks the agency to require cheese manufacturers to add the following warning label on all dairy cheese products: “Dairy cheese contains reproductive hormones that may increase breast cancer mortality risk.”
The petition, which was filed on Oct. 3, 2019, cites several studies linking consumption of cheese and other dairy products to increased risk of breast cancer.
The Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act (FALCPA) of 2004 initiated new food labeling requirements for eight food groups that, according to the FDA, are the source of 90% of food allergies in the U.S. Food allergies affect 2% of adults and 5% of children.
The eight foods, all proteins, are milk, eggs, fish (e.g., bass, flounder, cod), Crustacean shellfish (e.g., crab, lobster, shrimp), tree nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts, pecans), peanuts, wheat and soybeans.

Setting and Participants:
A total of 1496 samples of more than 50 spices from 41 countries were collected during investigations of lead poisoning cases among New York City children and adults and local store surveys.
Results:
More than 50% of the spice samples had detectable lead, and more than 30% had lead concentrations greater than 2 ppm. Average lead content in the spices was significantly higher for spices purchased abroad than in the United States. The highest concentrations of lead were found in spices purchased in the countries Georgia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, and Morocco.
