Someone complains about server stability
The servers do need to last long enough to actually test mechanics of the game, so how is crashes allowing that to happen again ?

White knights start with the ITS ALPHA narrative, someone correctly reminds them about CR's recent statement.
... The single biggest takeaway for 2020 is that as we shifted towards a “Playable Now” narrative and delivered more features and content, alongside a greater emphasis on quality of life and performance, we found ourselves drawing more and more new gamers into our universe and reactivating more old backers to return to check out our progress...
Yes OP, he says there are problems and it's not where they want to be, but it is more of a priority now than it was. And you people in the replies, stop beating OP over the head with your alpha sticks, CIG is switching to a playable now narrative. No more "you're not playing a game you're testing an alpha." Don't argue with me about it, I'm just telling you what CR said. If you don't agree it's playable now, you'll have to take it up with him.
A thread on a smiliar topic
For those who aren't aware, CIG is switching from an alpha testing to a playable now narrative for marketing the game. This thread is simply for us to share what we expect a playable now Star...

They refer to CR's statement, top reply is...
They always advertised it as an alpha you can play now. They still tell you at every step of the way during the pledge process that the game is still in alpha.
Its like they totally choose to ignore CR when his statements don't match their personal reality.
And some funny comments here
I am wondering will 2021 see a similar fate as early 2020 in the way of the great planning "week" roadmap culling or have CIG studios and managers found the balance they can meet. Roadmap Roundup -...

The progress tracker isn't a release schedule.
Unless it's on the "release view", just treat it as something they plan to work on at some point.
Hahahahahaaaaa..... my sides. But its true as well. They spent a year making a roadmap that isn't a roadmap.
I have one i have been enjoying: Between the Stars: Early access third person view 360 degree movement. Voice acting and events with reading where it feels almost like the classic text adventure,...

People seem to be avoiding mentioning Elite... i wonder why.
But someone is brave enough to mention they are looking forward to Elite
Elite Dangerous is making themselves more a competitor to SQ42/Star Citizen with the drop of their new expansion of foot and ground vehicle content and I could not be more excited about this....

They initially posted in the general forums and mods moved it. They got salty about that, created a thread about it, and i guess it won't be long before the mods slap them.
Of course, there are the expected replies.
And nope, Elite Dangerous' new expansion will be crap just like everything else they have done. Promise the world and delivery a fraction of it or just half ass it. It will also more than likely delayed by several months.
This... from a Star Citizen backer, is just delicious.
Another golden quote
The trailers are the first things I'd point at to question its eventual quality.
E

has a history of misrepresenting the game in their trailers to make it look far more exciting than it actually is, yet with accurately representing the game thrown completely out the window, that's the absolute most exciting they could possibly make it? SC's trailers look WAY better.
And CIG have never ever done anything like that! /s
Fangirl Boo posts this
Which i find really relevant.
But no, another fanboy is there to say..
sorry 'BOO' that doesn't work in an open game development like we have.
Yup, showing people results doesn't work in open development like SC has.
Really, you'd struggle to even pretend to be as broke brained as some of these people are.
