I'd like a bridge in the carrier above all atm. And with thrusters so you can rotate it from within the bridge to get a better view of where its orbiting. Good for screenshots.
Also the ability to program in more than 1 jump. Assuming there's enough in the tank etc.
I'd like to see alot more skins for the carrier for example ones that have been modified for piracy (spikes etc) or mercs.
And lastly on the carrier front, the ability to alter the default laser turrets to beams or rails PAs etc. Now that would be cool.

As said earthlikes are not on the table, and odissey is (probably) still a big step (pun intended) ahead for elite, even with light atmosphere barren planets.

Of course I'm eager to see even more, but it won't happen anytime soon (probably another couple of expansions for wild ELWs, and some more for civilized ELWs).

I can't speak for some people, but as for me, I just have certain expectations of a expansion costing me $40. If they chuck a bunch of dead planets at me with nothing to look at but sand and more sand, I'm going to be extremely disappointed as will thousands of other players. This game survives on the whales(players who buy upwards to hundreds of thousands of premium currency monthly) atm due to its small remaining playerbase. If they do "here's a bunch of dead planets for you but this time ON FOOT!" stunt like they did with Horizons, they are going to lose even the whales.

If we don't get nicely detailed and beautiful planets to explore then they better sure as hell have gone ALL IN with EVERYTHING ELSE to impress us.

Odd that I have 4 accounts and over 4,000 hours played... I don't believe I have said anything about doom or spread rumours - I leave that to others who are far better at it than I - and get upset when their 'facts' are negated by actual fact.

Yes, there might be things on Odyssey we don't know about yet. BUT there are things that we know that won't happen. You won't see forests, water, etc. This is a fact, Devs were CLEAR about it.

I like derailing threads. It's a bit of a side hobby for me. I just wanted to share.

As for the booze of choice in odyssey however, what do you think is most likely to be served at the bars? Thinking of all the excellent rares in game, and whether any of them will work like flaming sambuca?
