PSA For those about to begin AX combat

Best AX videos I've seen yet!
As packed with information as an Exigeous video, but even easier to listen to! Seriously don't know how you accomplished that! Good work!

Looks very inriguing, will be getting into this eventually. Probably not this time though, having just exhausted my mats engineering my last ship. :sneaky:
Just a principle question though regarding guardian modules required: The gauss cannon is set I guess as primary weapon of choice, but can you work around not having guardian MRP's?

you can, just pick your targets wisely. note: the first interdictors became killed before there were any guardian weapons(modules.

Are there any shipyards in the Witch Head still operational? Ineed somewhere to transfer my Chieftain.
You can use the Bazmeson Memorial in Haki if you want. Alternatively there's Jackrock Outpost in Wellington.

Edit: a bit of WHN history - FDev put JO in when all the Orbis stations were burning (the first time). It was a godsend to transfer out AX ships. This was pre-carriers too.

Yes, the main benefit of GMRP's is the extra integrity - but regular MRPs will do :)
GMRPs are optimal but by no means a requirement ;)
Good to know! By getting just one guardian weapons blueprint I will be able to get the gauss cannon, but oll the other guardian tech will put me through a lot more guardian site torture.... which I'm not sure I want to endure anytime soon tbh. ;-)

haha i understand the reaction :D we were testing their viability - even with a group of around 15 CMDRs they were hard work, so definately do not use PC's :D
Yeah it feels like whoever designed them got just about every aspect wrong for use against interceptors. Clumsy projectiles, poor overall damage and even their armour penetration falls well short of gauss. Terrible shame too because the visual effect of hitting something looks an order of magnitude more impressive than regular PAs going "blap."

Yeah I've been "testing" a T-10 with PCs and AX MCs against interceptors in the new AX conflict zones out in the WHN. I'm starting to think I'm just doing it as a self-flagellation exercise.

:D S

question is why they spawn 2 interceptors or 1 time to time? Sometimes 1 comes, and I can easy handle it with all NPC alive. Then it do 2 interceptors at once and problems come.
Also "cold flying" ... well, where to get more sinks on wz ? :D Because they keep coming >:
I use repair limpets for now, just boost around 10 kms+ and repair instead avoiding dmg. In worse case if you boosted away too much they will stop spawn and will have to kill last one single.
