General An option to automatically add to the block list.

Many beginners don't know about the block list. I propose to make an option in the settings that will be enabled by default.
This option will automatically add the player who killed YOU to your blocklist.

Example:
MENU - SETTINGS - OTHERS - AUTOMATIC ADD KILL YOUR CMDR TO BLOCK LIST [on] (default)

It will be difficult if you want revenge.

I think the person who decided to take revenge is not new to the game and so either turn off this option earlier, or go to the blocklist and delete the pilot there.

Many newcomers do not know about the blocklist and even if they know, the mechanism of adding a commander who killed you is not quite simple for the newcomer.
And as a result, dying from the same commander in the 2nd (and further) time he accumulates negative feelings towards the game and people.

If block was temporary and expired after long enough to prevent chain interdiction in the same session then it might not be an awful idea, and might be the reason someone kept playing the game or kept flying in open without becoming dismayed and disillusioned. Otherwise, it's an awful idea :)

A beginner who does not know the mechanics of the block does not know how to do it and suffers. If a person knows the mechanics it is easy to get into the menu and turn off this option, and will add to the block sheet as before.

So what is the horror of this new innovation? That we are trying to help the beginner?

P.S. I like the idea of time, though. Let it be a 3 position switch.
[ON] [OFF] [TEMPORARILY]
But the idea will eventually require additional effort in implementation and meter storage.

I remember about a year ago included 3 people in the block list and forgot about it :) I was reminded about it a year later, I was surprised and cleared my blocklist.

I'm tired of reapeating the block is/isn't evil argument - you can check around other threads for why creating "block inflation" in this way might be a bad idea. I'm surprised you've not already come across these two-a-week threads.

My suggestion is not about good or bad block list. My suggestion is about helping people use the blocklist more easily, if that's what they want.

To make it clearer to YOU, it's like turning on the galactic map. Either through the menu 1 on the left or by pressing the M key.

Tbh I think the blocking feature does more harm than it helps, especially regarding instancing. Blocking can break instancing, and unfortunately not only for the blocker.

It would be better to remove the feature entirely. If someone wants to fly in safety from other commanders, he should either play solo or learn how to escape.

Again. :(
This sentence is not about: good or bad - the block sheet.

It must be difficult to understand my words because of the translation.

Of all the smoothbrain ideas that I've seen, this is probably among the worst.

Blocking is to remove players (the people in front of the keyboard) who you don't like from your game. It is not to stop intended in game interactions.

Stop abusing the function that is meant for actual potential ToS breaches and the like. This is not what it is for. Play in solo if you're doing something and you don't want to be impacted by other players, it's that simple. Knowing that open is an unrestricted PvP environment the responsibility of the player and if they need to have their ship blown up to get that across, that's on them. Some of us took the time to understand how this open world multiplayer game worked before playing.
