If you'e never seen conflicting information on the forums then you aren't reading enough - at least 50% of replies are usually completely wrong.
Ahhhh! But on the forum I tend to find those that help far easier than other locations.
You see, some people tend to over exaggerate in the hope of appearing correct all the time, they continually react negatively to those that don't agree with them, as they are more interested in serving their own agenda. It's a usual social media thing where people have a tendency to act out 'playground rules' because there is no real comeback.
They are easy to identify and ignore - so it's not that I don't read enough on the forums, it's that I choose who to pay attention to.
Those that try to help are far easier to identify, because they aren't trying to prove something, belittle anyone, or display any of the other usual playground antics. I tend to listen to them and, where they might not always be right, I have found the right answers often enough.
I've found it is quite easy to get the answer you're after if you show a little respect to your fellow person, don't try and 'win' a pov or belittle another's idea, and don't blow smoke out of your rear end! I tend to be honest.
