ANNOUNCEMENT Important Information on the Enhanced Missile Rack Initiative

So, does this mean, every ore has its own RFID-Chip, which is printed in the refinery and marks it as mined? Buying a mined ore at a carrier reconfigurates the RFID-Chip? Crazy!

As best as I can figure it, it's based on the way the game knows how much profit you make per unit sold by knowing how much you paid for it. If you mined it, the purchase price is zero.

I've not seen anything regarding whether stolen or salvaged cargo counts.

Yes, that describes the technique behind it. My post was a little more ironic, as it really doesn't make sense. But it would be interessting, if .... i got an bad idea, if it works how you descriped.

There were pirates right in front if the mail slot trying to steal my cargo. Not complaining cause it was awesome. I drop out if supercruise and request docking. Slow down for autodock waiting in que . Start to go for auto dock and bam things are attaching to my hull and it stop my auto dock. Luckily i didn't leave the controls and got myself in and had to manually land my python(its been a while😊) few questions. Does stations have security for that type of thing and can i play in solo for the CG to count?

It depends whether it counts as weapons fire.
CGs count in any mode you are playing in.

So how do you claim the reward, at the end of the cg? Or during? The answer wasn’t clear and what does double the resources mean? There are no limits

Cash rewards you can claim from the station mission board once the CG is complete, or they'll auto-pay in two weeks.

The module for the top 75% will - based on previous CGs - appear in module storage at the CG station a few days after the end of the CG, and then you can move it to wherever you want it like a normal module.

"Double the resources" means that anyone, following the CG, can pay - based on the current Tier - 14 Proto Radiolic Alloys, 20 Conductive Ceramics, 22 Hybrid Capacitors, 24 Phosphorous and 9 Osmium - to buy an extra copy of the module from any Human Tech Broker ... or you could pay double that - i.e. 28 Proto Radiolic Alloys, 40 Conductive Ceramics, 44 Hybrid Capacitors, 48 Phosphorous and 18 Osmium - to buy two extra copies of the module from any Human Tech Broker (or three times that to buy three copies, etc. etc.). This is not connected to the personal cash and module rewards for participating in the CG.

My prospector stopped functioning
If you mean the launcher you need to check you have one pip in Sys one in Eng and 4 in Wep, then check you have limpets in cargo, if it still doesn’t work give it a kick and make sure it has power.
The first prospector launched after you arrive in a ring almost always breaks, as do subsequent ones if your ship is going too fast.
The limpets fail when you fire more than the controller can handle or you get too far away.

Hi all,
We've seen some confusion in regards to the resources needed for the module. You use the resources listed (Proto radiolic alloy, conductive ceramics, hybrid capacitors, phosphorus and osmium) for the purchase rather than the mined materials (bromellite, lithium hydroxide, and samarium). Apologies for any confusion caused.

I've not seen anything regarding whether stolen or salvaged cargo counts.

If they used that, could you game the system by having a buddy jettison the cargo?

20 times in a row. This game is not playable.

Thanks Paul.

As I read it, the cost of each engineered missile rack will be 16 x Proto radiolic alloy, 24 x conductive ceramics, 26 x hybrid capacitors, 28 x phosphorus and 10 x osmium, rather than this being the cost to unlock the item (with the item being purchasable with Credits after being unlocked). Is this correct?

That’s how I understand it too. Pretty expensive because of the 16 Proto Radiolic Alloys, but I guess it’s okay because of the double engineering.

Each missile rack will be bought with materials, not credits. However, our original text - as quoted in the OP of the CG thread - said Proto LIGHT Alloys, not Proto Radiolic Alloys. As the in-game text says Proto Radioloc Alloys I can only think that it is incorrect but have made enquiries so hopefully this will be cleared up soon.

How does it work with pracy, Paul?
Lets say a miner does all the hard work and mines the materials, I then intercept them and steal the cargo.
Will it count if I hand it in for the CG?

Not surprised you didn't get a reply telling you your playstyle isn't supported, but I can tell you it's not. Tried it myself and progress did not go up when selling.
