So, I'm using the default ED screenshot, F10, and the images it generates are poorer quality than what I actually see, like, by a lot.
Is there some way to improve that?

In... Solo game mode?? Why in the world would that make better screenshots?I cant be certain but I think you get a better quality shot in SOLO mode.
I don't know the answer to that question but I wouldn't mind betting someone on this site does.In... Solo game mode?? Why in the world would that make better screenshots?
Well that's a shame, I play in Open Play. Not gonna log out and log back into Solo Play to try to find what it was all over again that I wanted the screenshot of
Seems weird :/

As Morbad says above - it’s a problem when other players are flying around. If I remember correctly, when it used to work in all modes some players were setting the screenshot folder to an extremely slow external drive or something and it was properly messing up stuff during combat.In... For some reason Steam screenshot doesn't work for me. I've checked settings, made sure it's set to F12 (and I've tried other bindings like altF12), and the folder it's set to save to is good... but it never works for me :/I use Steam for my screenshots. F12 is the default binding I think. Jpeg, but good quality.
Weird. Does the Steam overlay thingy come up when you hit shift-tab?For some reason Steam screenshot doesn't work for me. I've checked settings, made sure it's set to F12 (and I've tried other bindings like altF12), and the folder it's set to save to is good... but it never works for me :/
Funnily enough that doesn't work for me, but Windows-PrtScrn does, and instantly creates a PNG file in the"Print screen key"... Microsofts Capture application opens with the image software...
C:\Users\%username%\Pictures\Screenshots
I believe you need steam overlay enabled. Make it a one-key action with a beep for confirmation it was taken. Best to upload them into the steam cloud after finishing gameplay for viewing of them, or you can also tick and set a folder for uncompressed 'steam' shots to be saved into. For some reason Steam screenshot doesn't work for me.
