Kick players who sit on the landing pads

Too many players would be sat in the hangar waiting for modules and weapons to arrive or in Outfitting umming and ahhing, buying or swopping ships etc, keeps the Bounty hand-in separate from the ship builders maybe?

Story wise its their own secure, safe, security site isnt it? Their mobile base of operations for this Summit.

Okay well maybe I'm just a simpleton, but is there a reason player owned Fleet Carriers can have a gillion landing pads of all sizes - but these huge CG base-ships have practically none at all?

Yeah instead of attributing malice to AFK players, or coming up with ways to punish them for doing nothing wrong, just spend a half-day coding in more landing pads on the CG base ships.

I gotta be honest, a little tired of hearing from people on here - who don't work at FDEV - tell us over and over again how/why something can't be done. Do you have the source-code to Elite or something? No, let's stop playing armchair dev please. This is used way too much here to shoot down suggestions imo.

It's code, there's nothing you can't do in code. I seriously doubt it's that hard guy. A "physical redesign"? Okay whatever, and?

I'm not even saying this is a big issue. But if it's an issue that needs fixing, then actually fix it. Don't put in some stupid bandaid that punishes people indiscriminately.

I wonder sometimes whether they merely designed these assets with only single player (Solo) in mind, or whether they're just that cruel.

Well, seeing as I’ve been denied docking permission at the CG megaship twice over the past three days while in Solo and had to wait a short while for the pad-hogging NPC to leave...

I also got denied docking permission in Frontier First Encounters this morning and had to wait nearly 2 (in-game) days outside of the Station, so I think things have improved slightly

Had the same problem at the megaship (mix of NPC & player medium ships docked).

Maybe these megaship assets were leaked from Odyssey, where walking shall be encouraged

Solo kicks everyone off your session. You can also block them. for future encounters - there is a good chance they will never provide good gameplay for you.

You can use solo or pg and dock without salt or punching your keyboard. There is nothing making you log back in and out to open. If you play in one of those other game modes you won't have to keep switching. Work smarter not harder

This. I log to Solo even if an NPC blocks the pad.
