30 essential animals meta-wishlist

Pretty soon we gonna cross off some of these animals with dlc incoming. Better yet let’s see how well frontier has been looking at this list.

For sure, hopefully on both counts. I know you didn't mention this, but I would imagine updating the list after each DLC would get very involved and as mentioned, could lead to errors. @random goat as been amazing to keep up with this as it is, working on it with updates on each DLC release could turn into a full time job. Maybe the torch can be passed after a full year of releases, unless of course the number crunching involved is fun for them, in which case carry on and more power to them. Watching this thread and the results of it have been the highlight of my time so far in the forum, it's greatly appreciated.

Depends on how guillable the fanbase is if you have a bunch of 9 year olds buying skins on some game, using someone else's money then yeah by all means price gouge away.

Thanks for your words! I'm happy to continue with this as long as new people keep submitting lists! I do number crunching on a daily basis anyway

If they ever added the quokka, I'd die of excitement! Same with marbled polecat. I only didn't include them on mine because they're more dream animals of mine than essentials. But nice taste!

At 4 animals per dlc rate you'll have to wait for Australia dlc # 7 or # 8 in maybe 5 yrs from now lol

Same and the same animal. Babirusa would've been in my top 40 I think, but I was hoping to at least cross off two of my top 30 list given there's 8 animals. Ah well, now I'll just worry about the Asian animals we didn't get.

Wouldn't be better to completely remove them from the list? That way would be easier to see what are the new top 30

Would be interesting to see which animals from this list will make in the game. If you cross out the species, you can still look it up in the rankings.
If you remove them, that's gone.
