I expect it's to do with lead time for Games Radar to edit togetherYeah, I was just interested in the dates. The rest of the station tour is from 22nd, so very recent, the taxi footage given to Gamesradar is that bit older.

I like the sneak peek at Agartha. From 1 landable planet to 6, and the planet shown (Agartha 2 E) goes from 0 assets (non-landable) to at least 6 settlements shown.
Very likely.I expect it's to do with lead time for Games Radar to edit together
I never owned an AdderI mean, why?
There's two costs on the meu, one the cost for supercruise, and one (which was 0 in the demo) for hyperspace. So it's local and nearby systems. I would think it's limited to a stock taxi jump range, in this case an Adder?Shuttle service looks' very interesting indeed! Love it, how far can you go with the shuttle? inside the system only or can you travel like 500LY away to a known starport?
If I win, you get the Adder? Now those are fighting words!
When they first talked about Apex they said it would allow inter-system travel but only for short distances, so probably something like up to 20lyu or something. Nobody stops you from then taking another Apex transport to the next system, and the next, and the next...Shuttle service looks' very interesting indeed! At least the adder has,you know, a seat for me to sit in as a passenger. How dare you mix up the mighty Hauler with the terrible Adder! Heresy I say!
I'm joking, but I do actually really like the Hauler.
And it's cozy!At least the adder has,you know, aeat for me to sit in as a passenger.
Currently the ship I am in in the bubble. All my other flight-ready ships are in Colonia. When EDO launches I will just use the adder as my ship to explore the new gameplay. And it's cozy!
Sure, I’m not trying to skip the time, it should be the same it’s just I hate to micro manage Star jumps and would rather pay for transporting my ship to a new location and then take a cab relaxing while I travel. When they first talked about Apex they said it would allow inter-system travel but only for short distances, so probably something like up to 20lyu or something. But since they take the same amount of time as taking your own ship, they're probably best for short distances.
The Adder has been my planetary shuttle since I got a FC, and likely to continue with Odyssey. In fact suspect I'll use small ships much more often after Odyssey releases.Currently the ship I am in in the bubble. All my other flight-ready ships are in Colonia. Not exactly the same, but you can still take the cab to get to somewhere and then order your ship to be transported there while you go shopping, station sightseeing or negotiate with those shady mission givers.Sure, I’m not trying to skip the time, it should be the same it’s just I hate to micro manage Star jumps and would rather pay for transporting my ship to a new location and then take a cab relaxing while I travel.
Enjoyed the station tour earlier, but this was pretty underwhelming.
Yeah, I know there's a kiosk for Apex Interstellar, we've seen it already. I also saw someone walking around a station earlier tonight (and it was cool). But I checked this out expecting to see the actual journey... Where do we sit? What do we see? etc.
Can't wait for the exploration reveal showing someone buying a scanner in the shop and walking to the ship... The End.
This is the bit I don't really understand.I also saw someone walking around a station earlier tonight (and it was cool). But I checked this out expecting to see the actual journey... Where do we sit? What do we see? etc.
It wont be long. How long does it take to jump systems, 2 minutes? Not enough to worry about. This is the bit I don't really understand.
I don't like the idea of insta-travel but if you're just sitting in a seat what are you actually going to do for the minutes it takes to get to your destination? Catch up with galnet articles? People complain about supercruise times as it is. So a non-interactive version of supercruise doesn't seem like such a great idea. There are ways you could jazz it up a bit but...
It's just a very weird problem from a gameplay point of view. Maybe insta-travel or very nearly insta-travel is actually the only way to do it ( and suffer the forum bloodbath that comes from it!).
