these black and elite themes for this forum need a little work I like dark themes because I'm computing from sofa with my 60inch plasma screen and like the darker themes for my eyes. The black minimal is the best. But would use the Elite one if something was done with those bright hard orange lines. CIG forums are far easier on the eye I think than this Elite theme. Well, to my sensitive eyes on a 60inch plasma screen at least.
I find the hard bright orange lines hard to look at for any period of time. Softer might help and less off them. More subtle softer orange would be good for me. Or an option for that version. Maybe not using black black for the background but follow the extremely dark but not black example set by CIG forums. Easy on the eye for long periods when not using black 255, but rather a color near black, a complementary to the orange maybe.
Overall the styling seems a little 4 years ago, rather than 2014/15 and onwards.
And how to set the default preference to either black minimal, or Elite black and orange? I set it in general settings (and save) and it just changes back to horrid white the very next page.
