I would like all of these animals because they're very unique and we don't have anything like them in the game. I know every one would be very happy if these animals were added. I can't think of a single user on the forums who would be upset! I sure hope everyone can respect my opinion, even if they don't agree with it!
I love how I get under your skin, it’s my mutant ability, I can make others really annoyed with me. You really did well to make the worst list possible, though why are the Russian Horse and Alpaca here? Never mentioned not wanting them.

Nothing can beat number 15 and 30, though.

I really don’t understand the hate towards the asiatic lion or the American black bear tbh. These are not simple reskins you can just simply flip and change the name. Sure you could use the same models but edits and work would still go into the model.

I can second that. My first rhino pick is the white rhino but I’d still like the option for whatever zoo I’m working on. The bear species left would also make good additions. I started off wanting the spectacled, sloth, then american black bear in that order. Now almost a year and a half later I think I could say my choices have flipped in the opposite order. I like the spectacled but I could also live without one as well. The black and sloth bear would be my favored picks.

I just dropped in to say I would love for the last 3 bear species to be added in the game and both African rhinos..... that is all
I agree, of course in the context of a perfect world. I do think that considering we might only have two more years of new content that focussing on a little more diversity is probably better, but I wouldn't outright object to certain "reskins".

That said, I do also agree that the American black bear or spectacled bear does not count as a "reskin". It isn't the same as getting another wolf or another lion/giraffe/tiger (and I'm saying this as someone who would love to see the Sumatran tiger make it in eventually), and IMO both African rhino species are very different from one another (of course, I'd rather see the Sumatran rhinoceros than have both the African rhinos).

It's a fine line to walk, I think. I'd rather get the spectacled bear than either the sloth or the American black bears, though.

Like duh, you have the caviar and the bread crumps, Spectacled Bears are from another continent, have awesome paintings, aren’t that aggressive, highly unknown to most humans (I once seen a guy lose the one million euro’s question in a show because of this bear.)

Spectacled’s are perfect, Black Bears are everywhere, mostly going through American garbage like they should (j/k)

As for the copy-past lion from Asia, I should not even HAVE to explain. It is too obvious. Also, I don’t even care for African Lions, they are overused and I’m never a big fan of the overused I see a lot on tv, so I think one lion is enough, fans of other animals should get their wishes first, then the duplicates.

About the 'Spoiler: ESSENTIAL ANIMALS 'META-LIST' , is it okay to show my list even though I shown it in this post/forum? Was it/I too late? Answer me when read this.

In a perfect world I would agree with Sumatran Rhino over all other rhinos.. they’re so unique and in my opinion cute. But alas, their conservation status and rarity makes me object to putting it in the game just out of respect for the plight of the real life animal. It’s really sad but imagine having a franchise and breeding them easily while in real life we’re struggling to keep them alive... it’s kind of in poor taste to me personally even though the opportunity would allow us to shed light on their plight through PZ. I thought about maybe having them added but make it extremely difficult to obtain and breed. (Maybe go for really high CC on the market or barely show up there?) Sumatran Rhinos are my favorite rhino species and I’ve already donated to their cause. My favorite of the rhinos (Black Rhino is second)

Adding the Sumatran Rhino would probably help by raising. Most people don’t even know it exists, much less that it’s critically endangered.

No, not "like duh". Different animals are important to different people for different reasons.

As a perfect example, the Sumatran rhinoceros discussion - SanRazor doesn't want them because he believes it would be disrespectful to their real life plight. Crusher and I both disagree, and think it would be a boon to have them for the sake of education. Nobody is really 'right' in their belief on the subject, both views are perfectly valid.

So it is with bears. You and I would prefer the spectacled bear, for our own reasons, but others might prefer the American black bear for their own reasons. There's no "duh", no obvious choice, no objective truth, and in the end Frontier might include neither anyway.

Personally I don't see why Sumatran rhinos being included should have any more of a handicap over other species. Chinese pangolins are much rarer and AFAIK they haven't been successfully kept in captivity, but in the game you can have them and breed them as much as you want. I lean more towards what Crusher55 is saying, really. I mean, giant pandas too are extremely difficult for real life zoos to obtain as well. All of them are technically owned by China and just leased out to zoos. Many zoos and even countries jump through hoops to obtain them, yet in the game we aren't faced with any such problem (realistically we wouldn't be able to trade giant pandas in the game at all, not without China's permission).

In any case it's unlikely we'll see them in the game anyway but it is interesting to see different perspectives on it.

Yea I do agree that having a spotlight on them would overall help. I’m all for that side of the Argument. They are my favorite rhinos as well so I’d gladly love them in my game. I guess I just get sad to see a situation like that in game knowing it’s not real.. but as you said the pangolin is in a similar situation so I understand and to some point agree. My emotions shouldn’t get in the way of exposure to this species

PS: (Not trying to be disrespectful but the population of pangolins is far higher than the 80 or so Sumatran Rhinos so the rhinos are definitely rarer)
