There are a looooot of foods that kill that are still on the market btw.
Peanuts kill (allergies), eggs kill (salmonella, apparently no chicken on the planet is free of it), soft cheeses are not recommended for infants, I could go on. Any protein is capable of causing anaphylaxis to the wrong individual.
Pollution is an interesting subject. In India there are still people that can't get basic sanitation. The IPL is paying millions for cricketers to play games (and bring back their viruses!) and their government sends test teams around the world in jets to hit balls in white PJs...but that's an entirely different rant I've had for aaaaaaaages.
