Just fitted my KWS - didn't even need any extra power engineering :)

There is something really wrong with your build if you had 4.8 MW of power available 😂

I was thinking to make an all out long range rail build. Most probably a Conda since it has 8 hardpoints and excelent convergence... just to see how far/fast i can nail a pirate in a res/beacon site

I put it on my biweave long range thermal vent beam/frag Mamba. Only had to change the frags to multis which is better for bounty hunting anyways.
2 seconds fire with the beam at 6km and the targets are scanned. Really nice.

You put your KWS on a laser trigger? Is that common? I'm doing that too but not sure yet how it's affecting power/heat. I'm using a Corvette though, so most PVE battles are practically over in seconds, before i can even judge if it had any negative effect.

It is common to put the KWS on one trigger with some weapons.

Common? Wouldn't know.
For me, yes, it is.
Not out of heat considerations, but simply because that's the weapon group that will not destroy the target before I finish scanning.
Also quiet usefully if you plan to attack a wing. You do not want to spend ten seconds scantime without being able to fire for the next ship.
Exactly what I'm doing for the exact same reasons. Thanks!

I didn't receive the fully engineered A-rated Electronic Countermeasure with lightweight and shielded modifications, any idea why?

Because your CG failed to win...
Cash was paid no matter the out come...
but power play and item were tied to win state only...
No double dipping allowed on this one...

Thats what people more in the know closer to Fdev allready posted above any way...

Usually even when losing we got the modules. There was nothing written that indicated for us to not receive the module in case of 'losing'.

This was power play competitive CG and Fdev set power play goals not minour faction goals... so they have not given it away to the losers..
Fdevs rules fdevs CG...

As allreay stated by others allready above the win state prizes were both and only a single side could win this...

Should the initiative gain more data than President Hudson's campaign, Shadow President Winters's policy will deliver a 50% increase in stability to the systems she controls or exploits. Hudson's failure is predicted to have negative consequences in systems he controls or exploits, where system security will be decreased by 25%. These effects are expected to last for at least one month before settling back toward existing values.
Additionally, the top 75% of contributors will receive a fully engineered A-rated Electronic Countermeasure with lightweight and shielded modifications. This will be placed in storage at Ito Orbital by the 8th of May 3307.

Does not matter if you ignore it multi times... that this was power play CG...

Can you give examples? All the competitive cgs i can think of which gave module rewards/ introduced modules only awarded the winning side's module.

Don't get confused with CGs which are indirectly competitive, such as CGs to get materials to build stations and such. These aren't directly competitive and can both succeed

The NMLA caustic missile rack.

Well, that did get everyone the 2nd Railgun :) I can see why people always complain about everything - fdev do tend to cave to complaints, where they'll happily leave other stuff broken forever (looking at you, temporary HIP 54530 permit)
The first complains were beneficial, granted.

But I'm pretty sure if I'd dig I'd find complains about the hot module even after the second one was given.
Which was, by the way, a most welcome but totally stupid solution.
