Fumeroles and geysires wiped out

I was out in the black exploring, ticking off a few things in my Codex, geological features in particular.
I just arrived in a system with a reported feature, scan the system, find the planet with geological activity, approach the planet - nothing! 3 crash sites, 2 other things (turned out to be wrecks), but nothing geological.
Seen this on other planets as well, so it's not just a single occurrence.

Anyone else for this one?

Were you looking for them on the Navigation panel? I believe for geological and biological sites you have to check the heatmap in DSS mode, to highlight the location on the surface, and not the navigation interface.

Personally, I have not checked geological or biological sites because I have noticed that all the landable planets in the black I've visited last night had a number of human POI (wreckages, crashed ships, power sources, buildings), and that pretty much killed my mood.

Yes, there are no longer geo POI's, they are scattered according to the heat map, and yes I have seen some!

I need to re-check that bit.

And i agree with you. I am currently 7.5k LY out, and I find wreckages all over the place. Might as well be a populated system.
