Server unavailable.

Trying to start the launcher i get this message:

I am using the newest launcher and was already running 3.0 this morning.

As the message suggests, it may simply be a temporary network issue. Does this message appear after you have authenticated with the launcher or after? It's possible the authentication server(s) are down for some reason,

It happens 3 seconds after clicking the shortcut to the launcher. launcher doesnt even start

And now the launcher starts, but when i want to log in it gives me an 'unexpexted response from server: bad request' message on trying to log in.

has anyone else receiving those errors each and every time you try to load the game?
the game always loads normally - station menu shows up but after 3 seconds i get this server error, for like 2 hours now...

Elite : Unconnected - The perils of server problems

Gonna keep this short.
Was hauling some wine , some mineral extractors , lots of expensive stuff for few missions I enterprise upon on the bulletin board ... was undocking... suddenly.... my game crashes.
Restarted the game.... and for the next 3 hours...
Server : 54.....xxxx (unconnected)
and now I have to pay a hefty fine cos the server is crap and the stability is BAAD


So I hopped to the outfitter and decide to switch things up.... then... the GUI gets stuck on the spinny sign trying to load up the outfitting interface.... I got disconnected.
Go back into the game after much waiting... I'm spawned someone in the emptiness of space being repeatedly BELTED by the aether. I panic , and reached for the emergency restart on the computer...
I return... I'm at 64% hull hp ...... 50 km from the station I was previously docked in.

I just got kicked out with a server error. Maybe related. Maybe bug.

Has the Autentication Server Gone Down?

i recently was playing quite hapily on the servers (in part to some very helpful intervention from MarkB on the dev team "btw Thankyou MarK again for what you did!" ),

however i just arrived at my destination and the game kicked me out.
since then its not been able to contact the authentication server.

so like the title says

has the authentication server gone down? if it has i'll not worry and do other things till its back online if it hasnt then i may need to put a ticket in.. anyone else seen this within the last hour?
