ANNOUNCEMENT Odyssey Update 2021

You want them to keep deceiving the public about the state of their product and charging people for broken turds that they know full well are broken turds? You want them to continue using their paying customers as their QA department because it's cheaper than actually hiring a QA department?

Oooookay... Whatever floats your boat.
How can they not have a QA department?

This is the way! 🤗🐛 Everyone should just breath and stop attacking each other and the company. I promise the bugs exist because a LOT of cmdrs are failing to realize that your immersion has always been bigger. You guys think you are being neglected but in actuality they are working on an in game mystery "raxxla" etc.. and the living civilizations(guardian and goids) currently in game. You might know these as permit locked zones. In all space legs will prove to be amazing for those who can see... look below.

PRUDENCE IS 🔐

Maybe they do but it lacks any authority. They need a "user acceptance testing" phase where nothing goes to production without UAT signoff. They don't have that which makes it look like they have no QA department.
Unfortunately "it has to ship on x date" trumps everything else, including QA. Shouldn't be that way and wish it was not that way, but it is. Seen it in my industry and many others time and time again. Feel for the devs and those that must be under immense pressure by no fault of their own.

You are aware that this thing you like is a bug caused by double application of gamma settings in the graphics driver because someone screwed up the render pipeline in the engine, right?

it's going to go back to how horizons looked once it's fixed.
It can’t happen soon enough. If I wanted this experience I could sit in my basement with the lights off.

I can deal with all the other bugs, but I need to at least be able to do the stuff I liked in Horizons. I just want to fly around without needing nightvision.

Yes, and it's a bit depressing that a positive side effect of a bug is likely to go.

I want all the other lighting fixes fixed, but on this apsect alone it's coincdentally a big improvement.
