The expansion is kinda crap though. Between issues with servers, UX failures and broken game play loops, this product is nowhere near as good as horizons and it cost people more money to get it.

The reviews are legitimate. The experiences people are having are not good. The concern over people going back to change them implies a feeling that it is a user's responsibility to aid in marketing this game when it isn't..

If the experience were good, it'd be getting positive reviews. It's not. FDev made thier bed.

Because the "Oh woe is me brigade" who throw their arms in the air every time Frontier release anything usually are hysterical.

Like basically everyone else is saying here: I don't see that and if I see that it's only a couple of reviews and posts max. Not enough for me to be bothered about it and calling it "hysteria".

Are we not allowed to criticise these minorities then? If we're only allowed to talk about the player base in general terms it should be made clearer to... you know... the general player base.

Very clearly. Doesn't make me wrong though. I'm always happy to admit when I'm wrong and have made a mistake, I've done that on these forums many times. I won't apologise to the idiots who are deliberately trying to sabotage the future of Odyssey though just because they're stupid and selfish.

If you are really a writer you should understand how people interpret sentences like these right? Especially when it is followed by some insults. "the" reaction, "the" reviews and "the" hysteria. Not "some".

The reaction, and especially the reviews posted by people on Steam really do demonstrate how unbelievably stupid people can be.

The belief that it is intentional (while I believe is unfounded) likely stems from the belief that Frontier had to be trying to release a product in this state.

Okay that's difficult to argue with. That can clearly be seen in "general terms". However it doesn't change the fact that I do specify particular language, and if people aren't using that language I was very, very clearly not talking about them. If people don't read the full post, or even worse only read the title and then reply then what the hell am I supposed to do?

The whole post is there for a reason!

Because idiots annoy me. There's no excuse for deliberate stupidity, selfishness and arrogance, and the fact that in a world so dominated by social media that's allowed at all shows how little the Human race deserves to survive the century :(
