Everything we purchase is a unfinished product. That is why it's called innovation, a upgrade, Version 1...2 etc. With innovation comes adversity and ALL I have seen with Frontier has been them stepping up to the plate actually more then most companies. I think who Braben is if you listen to him he doesn't sound like one to let his ego override his original passion of not creating a game in which he grows "bored" of...it amazes me because ppl spend a fortune on fortnite with 1/10 of the graphics and then hop on here crying. Long story short this is what I paid for and I'm happy. o7 You should be too bc we all know what this game is...it can't be a great game one week and the worst the next. PERIOD. ,🫂♥️🦖
Is that the mindset you have when you buy a car or board an airplane?

Is that the mindset you have when you buy a car or board an airplane?
Actually yes. If I board a plane I'm aware that an unforseen mechanic or environmental error may occur and cause the plane to crash. And the same for my car. This is why cars and planes or any product is subject to a recall. It doesn't matter the prestige of the company it's just life. Nothing is perfect and tweaks need to be made always! But in short YES YES it is.

Uh, no. You don't. You buy a car and you expect it to start. You expect the brakes to work. You wouldn't buy a car from a company known for cars that don't run, or suffer catastrophic failures during their first year of production. You also wouldn't board a plane from a company known for planes that explode every time they release a new model. Older, functional planes would also explode when new models come out because they'd retrofit parts from the new plane. After they sold enough planes, they would go back and fix the ones that hadn't exploded.

Hummm, F35 ?
Black Hawk choppers ?
737 and autonomous cars ?
Congress ?
Can anyone say "The Peter Principle", in a Corporate System,
people rise to the level of their incompetence, at which they stay.

Are you sure I can think of a few companies off the top of my head. Boeing 737's, Firestone tires when they were exploding, Takata air bags(Honda) etc. I think those are pretty successful companies still but hey that's not logical.

737's were grounded until the issues were resolved. Firestone tires were recalled and they paid huge lawsuits. Those companies had to take responsibility for it and take care of the issues. Shoot that cost Boeing huge contracts to Airbus.

Right so that's exactly what Frontier has done. I don't need my money back and I'm fully invested in the company and game. Some you are acting like their error has caused you serious bodily harm...it's just a GAME so chill out. Everything doesn't have to be so extreme. I think your responses are more a product of consumers used to instant gratification. I like to think of Willy Wonka when I see how ridiculously extreme some of your criticisms have been.

People have also complained about why have xeno ally decals if it's not possible... My straight face answer is pictured below...

I wasn't dumb enough to pay money for something I knew would be a turd out of the gate. Unless you've been hiding under a rock, you know that the industry, and FDev in particular are notorious for launching unfinished, untested turds. What I want is for companies to finish their products before putting them on the market instead of using customers for QA. I'm smart enough to hold onto my cash until they produce a viable product. I'm also not thrilled that they retrofitted their broken crap into Horizons, which I did pay money for, and was working just fine until they decided to 'fix' something that wasn't broken.

I've been playing since 2016 and no the bugs don't bother me because I see the potential and it's direction. Also the amount of fun and excitement I have tickling Thargoids over rides all of it. Is it smart though? Your still going to buy and play this game. Soon you will be streaming and posting photos to stellar screen shot talking about how much fun your having. But sure your opinion is valid and you know what's funny... They actually probably care about how they disappointed SOME ppl. o7
