So I have A LOT of anxiety about how many DLC's Planet Zoo has left planned for the future, and how many more years Planet Zoo will be supported. I can still think of a ton of DLC ideas.
Am I the only one who feels this way about Planet Zoo possibly ending support in the near future? I would love to know how the community feels.
Which DLC's would you buy and Which DLC's do you feel are still missing?
(NOTE- Some of these DLC packs I am not interested in (Ex: Cetaceans DLC and Mythological DLC...I like to keep my zoo's semi realistic) BUT I don't speak for everybody, let me know what you think and if there are any DLC ideas or animals I forgot let me know which ones.)
North America DLC: (arguably the most requested and anticipated DLC that isn't named "Aviary pack")
Europe DLC: (I have seen a lot of people underestimating European wildlife, but I would love any of the following animals in Planet Zoo, not to mention I feel there are some unique European themes still missing ex. Alpine/Bavarian, and Mediterranean/Greek themes)
Africa DLC: (I don't know how popular this DLC would be, especially considering we are anticipating an African DLC in the next couple weeks, but I can still name 8 animals from Africa I would still be thrilled to see in my zoos NOTE- Meerkat, Fennec Fox, White Rhino, and African Penguin are suspected to be in the new DLC)
South America DLC: (this DLC could cover the animals that were not included in the South America DLC)
Oceania DLC: (this DLC could cover the animals that were not included in the Australia DLC)
Asian DLC: (in a previous post I asked the communtiy if they would be interested in an Asian DLC that includes animals outside of Southeast Asia ex: Northern Asia, Middle East, Southern Asia, India, Himalayas etc. and people seemed to love the idea)
Arctic DLC or Polar Regions DLC: (this DLC could cover the animals that were not included in the Arctic DLC, and it could include animals from Antarctica)
Exhibits DLC: (this DLC could introduce new animations to the long neglected Exhibit animals, add larger exhibits, different shaped exhibits or the ability to join exhibits together, and it could also add Water-filled Exhibits (Aquariums), or Dirt-filled Exhibits for tunneling species)
Scenery Pieces DLC: (I fully believe that for $10 a lot of people would be interested in a scenery-only DLC, but I know it's not for everybody...)
Desert DLC: (this DLC could include signature animal species from Deserts around the world)
Mountain DLC: (this DLC could include signature animal species from Mountain Ranges around the world)
Aviary DLC: (EASILY the most anticipated DLC, but this DLC has to be larger than 8 species, I've never been to a zoo, even a small zoo that had less than 10 species of birds)
Aquarium or Marine DLC: (HEAR ME OUT...this DLC would include sharks and marine animals to go into habitats, and smaller fish and commonly kept aquarium species for aquariums (water-filled exhibits)
Conservation DLC or Endangered DLC: (this DLC could focus on Critically Endangered species, as well as species that are Extinct in the Wild (but still exist in captivity with the help of zoos) it could also include success stories, species that were once Extinct in the Wild but have been successfully reintroduced)
Mythological or Cryptozoloogy DLC: (this DLC would include cryptids from Greek, Egyptian, Roman, Norse and American mythology, it's a throwback to the "Cryptid Creatures DLC" from Zoo Tycoon 3, which people really seemed to like)
Whale and Dolphin or Cetacean DLC: (this DLC would...unfortunately include the most commonly kept cetaceans in captivity, and would hopefully also include a larger map size in order to house whales properly, as well as new information boards to provide information surrounding the difficulties housing whales and dolphins, and the exploitation whale and dolphin shows continue to perpetuate, and this DLC could also include a new "tropical setting" for the maps similar to real life parks in Orlando/San Diego (SeaWorld) and Tenerife (Loro Parque))
So please let me know what you think. Which DLC's would you like to see from Planet Zoo in the future? Also let me know if I missed any DLC ideas!
