Just did a quick test of docking, disembarking and walking around the concourse.
Space - maybe it's a little less dark, hard to tell, still doesn't look as good as Horizons.
Galmap - no visible improvement, still clunky and ugly compared to Horizons, still more clicks required.
Galmap - system states still look wrong to me - clicked on lots of random systems and at first every system showed a state of 'Boom' then every system I clicked showed a state of 'None' including populated systems.
System map - at least it loaded quicker, but still has a 4-5 second pause when you click 'Back'
System map - still a complete mess of FC's clogging up the map.
Optimisation - None, in fact I think I've lost a few FPS in the concourse, it was staying in the 30-35FPS range, now it's back in the 25-30 range. ( I get 40-45 average FPS in Cyberpunk at the same resolution and it looks better

- maybe because that game actually is using DX12 - FYI DX12 is not new it was first released 4 years ago! )
New Binds - good to see something asked for in the Alpha has been added - would be nice is I didn't have go into my key binding and back out again a few times for my previous binding to work ( ie I clicked the hotas button to enter supercruise and nothing happened, I checked the binding, it was still there, back out and try again, now it works ).
I've not bothered playing much in the last week due to all the issues, this patch doesn't really change anything for the better.
We've had almost 400 fixes in the last 2 weeks. That would be impressive for a beta - but for a full release of a full priced DLC - that's not good - especially as most of the core complaints ( many of which existed in the Alpha ) are still not addressed.
The two main things people do in Elite, fly in space and use the UI's - both these experiences feel downgraded in Odyssey. Even the new planet tech is very hit and miss - some planets look great a lot of others look worse.
