That is right, SPACE LEGS not GROUND LEGS, as in LEGS on my SHIP.
Seems to me that the Entire Focus has been centered around Ships, Until Now.

And if they had stuck to Ship Legs, inside the ships, they may have had more time
to develop the Ground legs side of things.
After all, they had inside ships already done for VR, and Multi Crew, didn't they ?
This would have been a great opportunity to focus and fix those things,
instead of going off on a tangent, that really has nothing to do with Horizons.

Got my SRV stuck in a hole, reverted back to plain old ED to get back into orbit, lost all my bindings.

Goof thing I have a backup.

It's a game. It's not LIFE. They don't owe you an 'apology'. We all knew what to expect, as it's been more than a couple decades now that game companies release products with bugs. Don't act surprised or so offended.

The 'release now/fix later' method of launch that most companies have adopted continues to flourish because gamers keep lining up with their wallets in hand. Why would you, or anyone with any sort of sanity, expect it to be -different-? FDEV is still made of people who OBVIOUSLY care about their game - there have been hotfixes and major updates regularly since launch, and there will be more. 'Show us that you care' - dude, quit being blinded by hate. They OBVIOUSLY CARE. A lot of people make their livelihood from this game. People with families and bills just like you and me.

I came into Odyssey expecting the worst. I've seen some bugs. I've CTD'd more than before the launch. When I get frustrated, I take a break and try again later. What I HAVE been able to play, I've enjoyed a lot. But if I couldn't handle the bugs - I'd move on and check in sometime down the road. I recommend that you and the rest of the drama-queens in this thread do the same. Reporting bugs = good. Furious ranting/raving/threats/promises of doom are likely being ignored.

Well I guess this shows they still got the blinders on.
So forget your ships, and do the down to earth FPS, and like it, cause we says so.

NO, they were asking to walk around in their Ships, where they spend 90% of their time.
I don't recall anyone asking for a Ground Based FPS.

I don't walk around in my car when I'm meant to be driving it. How many flight sims let you go to the toilet in a jumbo jet?

Loads of people wanted to visit shops in the stations, meet their friends in the bar, etc.

Outposts on planet surfaces that were only visitable by SRVs were also something loads of people asked to walk around.

So, you got that.

How much enjoyment and gameplay are we really going to get walking around our ships? The only time I can see that being something really exciting is if you're boarded by pirates. I'm far happier that they concentrated their efforts on stations and planet surfaces.
