State of the Game

Let's have a picture of an ape, then:

This made me realize, that I don't know what's the equivalent of "potato PC",
for describing slow internet connections.

Are there so many?
I guess so, I stopped noticing them some time ago.
Quickly adapting perception filters that allow to avoid being distracted/annoyed by some repetitive sensory stimulus is an indispensable ability after several years of marriage :sneaky:
I have a potato, wired into gigabit fiber. Portal that...

The BGS was broken conceptually for anarchies because FD think anarchy = criminality, using anarchy groups as punching bag stooges.

Don't like piracy, thats fine. However I do like that, and general criminal gameplay that dovetails with C+P. FD? Don't have a clue.

How does that work for NPCs? You have to shoot them and pry it out. Why can't a criminal reputation scare them into panicking? Little things like that would add up.

I've played it since it was in KS. Its started out really well and has slowly gone off the boil.
The black market, and smuggling were criminally wasted opportunities.

What does Oddy give us? A bartender, who won't serve drinks.

makes post about the impending cancellation of the game due to a bullet point list of made up reasons that aren't true but sound like they could be.

suggests starting over with ED2, despite the almost certain fact that fdev would use the same engine with the same people at the helm, which the paragraphs above stated were sources of why the game should or would be replaced.

expects fdev will read post and be totally on board with these valuable insights.

Explain how it's easy to fix the game.
And how they should simply change it's engine. Give advices on popular engines such as Unreal and "no man's sky engine".
Add a simple "fix" for the game, and wonder why it was not used, since it's so simple :
{
if (bug)
then (don't)
}

Inspired by previous posters boldness and creativity decides to finally open a thread about ship interiors.

As nobody has done that before expects that everybody welcomes the thread with open arms.

Agrees, with the caveat that ED2 should ONLY be ship interiors for maximal immersion.
