Looking at the offerings up and coming from E3, all I see are a load of games I won't be playing...besides Starfield
Thing is, some people will be playing the games that they like.
At least they will be released.
SC/SQ42 though.... one day, maybe.
Reminds me of how years ago backers would bang on about how great CIG were for not releasing a buggy half-finished game as compared to certain other games (specifically ED). And yet they praise the buggy not-even-half-finished game they play while hiding behind the shield of ITS ALPHA!
I mean, ok, its good when devs don't slap a release label on something that doesn't deserve it. But to slam other games for being buggy unfinished releases while praising your own buggy unfinished product seems off.
Not to mention they used to talk about how CIG were going to release a finished quality product (unlike certain other games), but now it appears there will never be a hard release. Just SC 4.0, SC 5.0 etc, game dev as a service, all the while hiding behind ITS ALPHA the moment that someone offers criticism.
That's just sucky behaviour.
