I like how I still can't undock my Archimedes fighter from my Constellation, despite being told that fighters can undock from their Connies. Apparently, only one kind of fighter can undock from only one kind of Constellation, for some reason.
You need to catch them all. Cheap skate.I like how I still can't undock my Archimedes fighter from my Constellation, despite being told that fighters can undock from their Connies. Apparently, only one kind of fighter can undock from only one kind of Constellation, for some reason.
I agree. Popping out of my ship is killing the game.I am really struggling to get into Odyssey and part of it comes down to the transition from cockpit to on foot being so lack lustre.
Which Constellation do you have? I did try this once when it went to live and it worked with what I think was the Aquilla. I'll probably never do it again though.
Which reminds me, I need to see if bartenders are still in the game, I only tried that once.
Still haven't pushed a trolly, dragged a body, or seen one of the big caves.
I fail to see where that actually impacts the game experience. What were you expecting? Some kind of Armstrong Moment?I am really struggling to get into Odyssey and part of it comes down to the transition from cockpit to on foot being so lack lustre.

Out of curiosity… weren’t armistice zones removed from the game?I was already inside the "no fire" zone
I have the Constellation Phoenix.

Yes, but only in the sense that you're not supposed to fire. It's a crime stat if you do. In this case, though, this incident happened when the armistice zones were still where you couldn't fire, so he technically shouldn't have been able to do so.Out of curiosity… weren’t armistice zones removed from the game?
Yes! I like it because it's a home away from home ship. The bar's a little overwrought, in my opinion, but I just think of it as a kitchen anyway, as it looks like it has cooking and washing appliances. I can fly it around, park it out where no one else is likely to run into me, and just chill in the hot tub.Oh, fancy!

Well, not really chill in the hot tub, as the hot tub is just a picture on the floor (seriously, you literally walk over it, you cannot step into it), but the idea is there.
Yes, exactly. It probably sounds silly, but I like the idea (should the game be completed to an appreciable degree) that I can take my ship down to an icy planet, landing on the dark side next to a small settlement, where a friend is waiting to be picked up. I exit the ship in my Lynx, approach an old building, pick her up safe from the dangerous cold, head back to my ship, go up into the living area, and even as the ice storm rages outside, my friend's all warm and comfortable inside, fixing herself a drink, while I prep the ship for take off. She can watch outside through the giant windows, taking a seat in one of the comfortable chairs, or at the table, and watch as slowly the ship rises and heads away from where's she's had to stay for a month without any of the comforts of home, and now it's just a small dot in the starscape as we jump to QT, and I join her in the lounge for a chat. They made such a big thing out of that hot tub and you can't even use it.
I get the home from home thing, its like a giant Camper, Or Winnebago.
This guy is genuinely not trolling

Slightly rude awakening coming I think. Round about 2026.
